Estepona is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It is part of the Costa del Sol, a popular coastal region along the Mediterranean Sea. Estepona is known for its charming old town, beaches, marina, and relaxed Andalusian lifestyle. It’s a popular spot for tourists and expats alike.
Estepona lies about 25 km (15 miles) west of Marbella,
45 km (28 miles) east of Gibraltar,
and around 80–85 km (50–53 miles) west of Málaga city.
It sits at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja mountains, which rise up to 1,449 meters (4,754 ft).
The town has over 21 km (13 miles) of coastline with beaches, marinas, and promenades.
It is well connected by road, especially via the A‑7 coastal highway and AP‑7 toll road.
