Hi,
I’m in the process of buying my first road bike. I happened to stop by my local bike shop yesterday (sorry about the outfit 😉) and tried a Specialized Tarmac SL7, which I completely fell in love with (the green one).
I’m unsure if it’s the right size (it’s a size 56 – the only one they have left). I’m 176 cm tall and probably not sitting properly on a road bike yet, since I’m not used to it. What do you think?
The black one is the same model in size 54 (but I much prefer the other color), and I couldn’t really tell if it fit better – I just felt a bit more cramped on it. The light blue one is a Giant TCR, which actually felt the most comfortable to sit on.
The price of the Tarmac is €3,550 with aluminum wheels. Is that a good deal?
The TCR is the same price but comes with hookless carbon wheels. I’ll mainly be riding on flat roads.

54 is your size
How does it feel if you drop the saddle another ~2-4cm your legs are straight at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Your foot is not in the right location, though in loafers it may be hard to hold. The [ball](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_(foot)) should be over the spindle. Your arms look locked out. These are signs that you need to make some adjustments.
