Test fitting a nitto technomic on mu 97 hardrock as the girvin flextstem it had on it was far too low.
I’ve overcompensated for this fact, had to temporarily delete the front canti as I have no cable stopper.
Just thought I’d share with you all, all comments welcome!

The only goofy thing for me it’s the bar ends but that’s personal preference.
This bice is nice
Maybe the frame is the wrong size
Ditch the grip shifters for some Acera SL-M310s, or something fancier.
Get some risers and bring the stem down a bit.
If it works for you, who cares if someone else thinks it is goofy.
That said, personally, I’d get an old mtb quill stem. They made them with quite a bit of rise in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Got several of them off Ebay. I like the flat bar, but .might go to a riser to keep the quill in deeper.
What you need is a set of BMX bars.
That is the most insane stem I’ve ever seen lol, did you really put it in to the minimum insert?
yeah the frame is way too small for you, you probably need a 22
It will flex something awful comrade
OMG Becky, look at that stem!
