Hello. I'm doing the Ohio to Erie trail in a few days. I've logged 730ish miles so far on these stock tires I got with my Marin gesalt. Do you guys think I'll be fine for another 300 or should I stop by a bike shop before I set out?

Yes. The 2nd photo seems to show an object in the tire . That or it’s worn down to inner core.
I think you need to lubricate your garage door rollers and hinges. I know that bitch is loud af.
Do you NEED to change them? No.
Is it a good idea to do so? Yes.
But clearly you won’t be able to do anything but road with them, as the external layer looks really thin now and a sharp rock in an off-road path could puncture it.
No, they’re fine. I’ve ridden tires a good 2,000km past this.
Do you *want* new tires that will handle gravel a bit better and last longer? That’s a different question.
I’m actually planning on doing the ohio to Erie trail soon too! Have you done it before?
I’ve ridden these tires to hell and back. For regular commuting I would ride this ‘til it blows up but since they’re dirt cheap I’d buy a new pair.
Best allround tire I’ve ridden and they’re puncture proof. Like bomb proof.
