    Is it a good idea to do so? Yes.

    But clearly you won’t be able to do anything but road with them, as the external layer looks really thin now and a sharp rock in an off-road path could puncture it.

  4. No, they’re fine. I’ve ridden tires a good 2,000km past this.

    Do you *want* new tires that will handle gravel a bit better and last longer? That’s a different question.

    I’ve ridden these tires to hell and back. For regular commuting I would ride this ‘til it blows up but since they’re dirt cheap I’d buy a new pair.

    Best allround tire I’ve ridden and they’re puncture proof. Like bomb proof.
