Hello guys, few months ago I bought Canyon Spectral ONfly. Unfortunately for some time bike keeps cranking and squeaking. The cranking is audible when the motor is turned on. This is especially irritating taking into consideration that the whole point of buying this bike was that it was supposed to be more quite then your full on e-bike. It has been checked by official canyon service but they did not find anything. Is this to be expected? Any hints on what to do further?

There are a couple of things I’ve done because my bike was also squeaking and creaking.

I put some grease under the seat post clamp. It was bone dry. That gets noisy! I checked and tightened the battery housing as it was a little loose and rattled about. That might not be applicable with an OnFly, though. I’ve also taken a couple of small velcro straps and tightened them around the down tube. This also helps keep the battery housing from being noisy.

My Canyon Lux creaked and squeaked. It was the cable that ran from the main triangle across to the swingarm. It rubs on suspension movement. I greased it and silence, that was two years ago. Does the rear shock have lock out? If so lock the suspension and pedal hard to see if it still makes the noise. Also the rear axle can make those noise if not greased.
