How does this work? You sew it in an existing bib to replace?
I’ve got a pair of their Ultimate summer bibs and Ultimate 3D bibs.
I’m not sure whether this is an issue with the chamois in the non-3D bibs or an issue specific to the summer bibs, but I find that the padding in those bibs rides a bit too low. So my nether bits are kind of half-covered and that leads to some rubbing that I have to keep akwardly adjusting for. I also get a bit of numbness after the first hour and a half or so. (As an aside, I still like the summer bibs because they’re so damn breathable in hot weather, but longer rides can be problematic).
Compared to that—I have none of those issues with the 3D bibs. The padding rides higher in the front and is a bit stiffer so I don’t get any annoying rubbing or numbness. Been on multiple 50 mile rides with them and have zero complaints. I like them so much that I asked their customer support team whether they are going to release summer or winter bibs with their 3D chamois, but alas, they have no plans to do so.
