Good morning. It’s day number 18 and what I can tell you now is I’m in a sauna. Literally, I’ve not even got my jersey on yet cuz I’m waiting to get outside. It’s so hot in this apartment. It’s probably the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever had in my life. And probably the same for Kyle. I’ve literally got sweat dripping down me just stood still. It’s horrible in it, Kyle. It’s not good. It’s not good. Anyway, today I’ve got the biggest day I’ve had so far. Really scared. I’ve got 130 miles. I’m not scared. I’m just I think it’s going to be hard. Anyway, I’ve got colder tormale, cold aspen, colder peris sword, and luchon superz. Colder tomally will be the highest I’ve ever been on my bike before. So that’s the first climb. I’ve got a gradual climb all the way there. And then 45 mi into the route, I hit up that bad boy. Kyle’s going to park at the top, descend down, and do the climb with me. So that’ll be nice. And yeah, it’s just it’s uh quite early actually. It’s 10:00 to 5:00 in the A.M. because I want to get off early cuz I think it’s going to take me a long time today, especially how tired I am. So, I’m in Palo, I don’t know how you say it. And I’ll finish on Super Buganz. So, let’s go. So, this is the official start line opposite the Guarded Poe, however you say it. Starts off a little climb that I’ve just descended down to get here. Only very small compared to what I’ve coming up, but yeah, it’ll be very different when the pros are here. It’s the Is it the 14th of July today or the 13th? Losing mess. It’s 14th of July today. Everything’s shut today in France. It’s a national holiday. So, yeah. Let’s get on with this. Come on, Amy. It’s going to be up soon. Here we go. Stage 14. Let’s go. Pros will be here on the 19th of July. That’s the day that that’s the day after me and Kyle do um Mont 2, actually. Oh, round the corner I go. Eye pest little. Okay, I’ve just come to my first road closure of the trip, which means I’m going to have to go right back on myself. I’m a bit stressed, actually. Um, yeah, I’ve got to work out what to do. Going to add some miles on. Don’t know why I’m getting upset. I’m just stressed about today anyway. And I just It’s the last thing I need. But anyway, stay positive. Route round. It’ll be okay. Just going to give K a text to let him know. old balls to it. Right, I found a way around. I think I’m going to be adding some mileage on. Got to go back up a hill. I’ve just blumbing descended as well. Probably can’t even see me right now cuz it’s so dark. But I’m going to go back round. It’s all going to be okay. Right, I’ve turned my frown upside down. No more tears, just spinning gears. I found a road that goes round. It might be a bit longer, but oh well. Nothing I can do. It’s the first time I’ve had to do this on the trip, so I can’t really complain. just means I’m going off the tour route a tiny bit today, but nothing I can do about it. That’s where I should be on the green line in purple and that’s where I am. But the road’s next to it, so hopefully it’ll join up. I’m back on the route again. Bon route. Um I’m 30 mi away from the start of the climb. It’s 50 mi into the route. It’s raining a little bit, but it’s not too bad. Keeping me cool. I’m just feeling a bit nervous for the climb, but I know it’s going to be beautiful. Might be raining on the way up, but if it is, I’m not made of sugar paper. Just got to get up there. I’m 42 km in. It is drizzling, but it’s not too cold, so I’m keeping my jacket off. I didn’t have my jacket with me, but luckily this fell drove past and dropped it off. And look where we stopped. Mountain goats road the montage. I’ll be you later. Stier de mountain of the mountain. Yeah, I guess go to the mountain. Something like that. Well, it doesn’t look like we’re going to have very good views up there. Look at it. Be okay. Kyle’s going to go to the top of um Tormal now, aren’t you? and then descend very carefully down to the bottom where I’m meeting you. Need to be careful cuz I’m worried. No, you’re just tired. Keep going. No, but it’s wet on the road. So, just really overinking everything. Yeah, I am tired. Right, I’ll see you at the bottom of the climb then. 25 miles time. Pepe done with fresh air. Right. I love you. Be safe. Love you. Sometimes when the car goes past, I think I wish I could just sit in there and have some comfort. But to be fair, I’m comfy on the saddle. Can’t complain. Get up this mountain. Amy, you got this. I’ve been worried about it. It’s going to be the biggest the highest I’ve ever been on my bike before in my life. So, I just got to go for it and enjoy it and get those fears away. I don’t know what I’m even worried about. Kyle’s going to be with me. Going to take it steady. It’s going to be fun. Oh god, swap. I should be up there somehow. I’m down here. I went right by accident. I would hike a bike up these blooming stairs. So just what a blooming need. Oh well. Give me leg to stretch out. I wonder if I can get up that way. Actually, don’t want to risk it. So I go up the stairs. Shine a lot. That got my heart rate up more than the cold did. Anyways, nice little thing down here. Shind somebody did something good. Anyway, Al as Ed Sheeran would say, there’s a castle on a hill. Someone had some ear wax. Did you see that? Neck is getting his finger right in there. I’m just in the valley. I’m about 4 miles out from the climb. I’ve got a little 500 ft burner to warm me up. I’ve actually done the tormal climb virtually on Ruby who one of my sponsors. So, I know what it looks like and I’ve done it in my garage with no fan on. So, if I can do it in there, I can do it out here with the views and the breeze on me. And I’m actually really excited now. Feeling really happy. I don’t know what I was getting all nervous about. All I’ve got to do is spin my legs. It’s not exactly that bad, is it? Look at this. That water is so blue. Gorgeous. Wow. That’s where I’m going up there into those mountains. I’m feeling really excited now. I can’t wait for the views. It’s cleared up. It’s not raining anymore. This is going to be probably the best climb I’ve ever done in my life. So, let’s enjoy it. Right, I’m in L St. Sav. I think that’s how you say it, which is where the official climb starts. Although on my Garmin I started 2K ago. So I’ve got 4,594 ft left to climb. But I’m just waiting here because Kyle should be freewheeling from the top up there somewhere around this corner. Anytime now and then we’ll go up together. So I’m going to whack a flapjack down. It’s a bit busy around here. Bling, Nora. and then we’ll head on up. Still waiting for Kylie, but I’ve just found this kilometer zero. We’re at the official start. Loose St. Savin by the end of this. Here he is. Bonjour Ty look. I found this. Take a photo. Look. Famous cyclist. You’re going to love it. Famous cyclist Kyle. Yeah. All these Thomas Yeah. How was the descent? You’re going to love it. That’s the best thing. Times are ticking, my friend. I’m waiting here 15 minutes. Have you leg? I can’t keep going. I want to come down. Come on. No. Wait for Yeah. You’re going to love it. Okay, let’s roll. Thanks for coming down. I’m so glad you’re here. Getting worried, but you might want to You might want to take this. Might be my fastest ever. Don’t tell me that. 29 mph outfit. That’s not even that quick. Don’t tell me that. Okay, let’s climb. We’re doing it. Got a long way to go. Take my time. Meal worm pace and we’ll get up there. There we go. Colder tomate. Average gradient 7.4% maximum 13%. We got this. I can’t believe we’re on this climb because I can remember when I was training, sat in my garage doing it on the turbo on Ruby and just thinking, I wonder what state I’ll be in. Hello, mate. Little doggy. I wonder what state I’ll be in when I’m doing it in real life and feeling really nervous. But I’m here now. I’m really enjoying it. It’s not easy, but it’s so beautiful. It distracts you. We’ve got the main man with me. Stay in peace. No need to be nervous. You need a wee, don’t you? Yeah. He needs a wee, but he doesn’t want to stop cuz he won’t stop on a climb. Although, God, he could stop and catch me up. So, Yeah, you get some status. Woohoo. Less than 3,000 ft to go, which is similar to the climbs I’ve been doing on the last few days. I’m going for this little ski place. Taking my time enjoying it. It’s so beautiful. Mountains behind me. Mountains up there. Gorgeous. Cold toilet. That’s where we’re heading. Pain. Yeah, they say that again. Tormal is open. Well, it better blooming beon sheep dog. Oh, I better we go. That dog’s having a we’ll be you in a minute. Wow, look at this. Just come from down there. We’re going up around here. Camper vans have got their spots. Kyle, ready for the tour? I can’t climb. Yeah. Although don’t finish with super. Hey, 8K to go, Kyle. Apparently. 8K to go. What? Apparently this danger is a carbon copy of one in like 1980s or something. You what? So apparently this danger is carbon copy of one from the 1980s or something. Really? Or slightly longer. Same time. Yeah. Where’s your Hey Kyle, look sign for you there. It’s you. Ah, you’ll see some beer. Well, hello there little fellas. [Applause] Oh, stay away, mate. Hello. It’s all right. They’re friendly. I love all the cows. The bash. They’re so cute. I didn’t even see. I was having a bit of a struggle moment. 1,600 1,600 to go. That feet. And I just looked up and there were two donkeys. And that made me smile. I like donkeys. And so does this view. Look at them, Kyle. Donkeys. So good. Donkey count’s on 24 now. Kyle, a lot of donkeys about. That’s Morgan’s donkey a day. My donkey. Hello donkeys. K and bonjour and two donkeys. Oh, they’re getting loaded up. The poor beasts. 5.4K to go. 1,400 ft. My head’s being negative. Going all the way up there. We’re going to let it beat though, are we? Not going to let it beat me. No. Definitely not. This feels like a long way to go, Kyle. Not a long way to go. Three miles. Yeah. Three mile. Then I’ve got three more mountains after this today. That’s no drama. You done two of them. Probably not going to be done till midnight. Tell you what. Okay, I know I can do it. Come on, brain. Sure. My legs have got it in you. It’s your brain’s going to get into Your brain’s got it as well. Keep going. Okay. I’ve given myself a good talking, too. Nothing that I go through on this bike is as bad as what I’ve already been through in my head when I was poorly. It’s way worse than this. Keeping on going. Look at the views. It’s beautiful. We’re back in it. 4K to go. Let’s do this. I’m not thinking about the next mountains yet. One at a time. Worry about it. We got it, aren’t we, Kyle? Of course you’re up. I can do it. Light work. Yeah. Let’s keep rolling. Spin my leg. What’s in front of you? That’s all I got to do. Yeah. Is it? Look at the loweries. Ali pogy. Ali pogy. Yeah. We got this. Hello sheep. Hello mate. Wow, it’s beautiful. 2.5k to go. One mile to go. Bit steep at the top. Not too bad though. Nothing compared to the Peak District. So, reminding myself of harder climbs I’ve done before. Like hard not. Keeping on going. Nearly there. Look at that. That’s the top up there where that bike thing is. Steep finish. Let’s do this. I’m going to get there and have a photo of that soon. I’ll be top of the hill dancing up there in no time. 283 ft to go. Get me up there. We made it. Hey. Hey. I did just do a dance in front of there. Get the stickers in. You can do a picture of me. Get stickers. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Sticker for Chester sticker. I did a dance in front of there on my phone, not on YouTube. And uh they’re all laughing at me. But I that was I got fly spray in me eye. Did you? Yeah. And my me eye kept stinging all. I’m so relieved to be up here, Kyle. Honestly, I thought I’d never make it up here. So, what time is it? So, I aimed my aim was to be up here by half 11. 20. Oh, that’s great. So, yeah. This is literally This is actually the highest I’ve ever been. 50 minutes early. Highest I’ve ever been before on a bike. We’ll do a big longest climb I’ve ever done. Big top of the hill damps in a minute on the GoPro. Yeah, it’s great. I’m going to get the sticker. Yeah, get Jesse’s sticker. Right then. Well, this is what we’ve done. Chess is about to go on. It’s very windy up here. Windy. Windy. Where should I put him? Where do you think there is room? Is he there? Um, let’s put him on the line. On the climb. Oh, he’s going to have to go on the climb, isn’t he? Yeah. Go back. Sure. Is that naughty? No. People right there. Yeah. Chesty. Look at him. Chester is on the toilet. Oh, it feels so good to be up here. The highest I’ve been. Also doing top of the hill dance. The official Tommy sign’s up there as well, actually. Ready? Right. Well, because we’re the highest I’ve ever been in my life, I’m going to have to make some really good click. A high one. Ready? [Music] Hey, that was quite a good one, actually. It was. Feels so good to be up here, honestly. Do you want a face, Kyle? Yeah, I have one. Yeah. I want one that bike actually. Yeah. Go on then. Sean. Oh, wait. It’s all right. We’re only going to be up here once. Yeah. Here’s the official sign. called a tormale. Right, I’ve just I’m still at the top of the climb. I’ve just had a some pasta, a milkshake, well a little bit of pasta, and have the rest later. And I’ve got three more bad boys to do. First stop, we got cold aspen, then colder, and then we’ve got final one, super magas. So, got to fuel up. I’ve got a nice descent now, and I’ve got the front camera on my bike, so I’ll be able to film some of it. So, that’ll be nice. And Kyle’s just getting me a quissant, I believe. Here he comes. Here comes the one and only. Here it comes. Class on. Thank you. Oh, what’s that? Panory. Oh, yeah. About the next stuff. I love that. Okay. That’s my favorite. Let’s have a look at the quason. It’s just spotted, you know. It was a nice bakery. All look really good. In fact, that actually looks really liny like a snail. M while I’ve had it a little while. That’s the best one yet. Apart from the almond ones, I say. Yeah, I did ask for an almond one. Nothing beats an almond one, but that is the winner until I have the pan sport at the next stop then. Yes. Done 102k. Only got 93k to go. Exactly. And you’ve been going uphill for all that. What? That’s less than 60 mi. Yeah, I’m flaking. Sorry. a flakes. That’s what you what you’re doing now. Flake. I’ll be a flake on the floor at the end of this. Okay, let’s go. Wow. Heat. Heat. Hey, [Applause] Right, I’ve descended down which is really nice. I’ve just delayed my jacket because I’ve now got cold aspen coming up which is hang on 2,110 ft and it’s the same way I went up first thing yesterday. For some reason I thought I was coming up the other way. So then I’ll be descending down the really beautiful side. So that’ll be nice. But yeah, 2,110 ft is nowhere near as bad as what I’ve just done. So let’s get up there and enjoy it. Bonjour. Came from here yesterday. Got deja vu now. But oh, I need some oil on my chain. You know, I was meant to get Kyle to put some on for me, but I forgot. It’s dry. Oh well, nothing I can do now. I have to wait till I see Kyle again when I just after I’ve gone up and down Aspen. I’ll see Kyle again before the next climb. So, I’ll whack some oil on and lube it up. Here we are. There’s the sign. I missed this yesterday morning. 12.5K average 5.2% max 8.5%. A little pip in the ocean compared to what I’ve just done. So, let’s get up there. Kyle’s here. He’s putting some oil on my chain for me. Sorry. Sorry, my foot’s in the way. I’ve got 1,700 ft left to climb. Don’t put too much on. Oh, it’s like a new bike now with oil on the chain. It’s so much nicer. It was grinding so bad. So, se Oh, sa. Hello, mate. Oh, so much better with oil on. Thank you, Kylie. Kyle, the main man to the rescue again. What an absolute gem. We’ll be coming past in a minute. Deep bike to pass. Do we’re going up another climb. It’s gorgeous. Two kilometers to go. Hey, I made it. K’s just gone to get a Chester sticker and we’ll stick him on here. This is the Hang on. My bike’s going to fall over there, is it? There’s the official sign. Deja Vu of yesterday, but it was It wasn’t actually that bad. I just took it nice and steady, so we’re all good. Got a nice descent now and the cows are here. I wouldn’t tempt food, mate. It doesn’t look happy. Stare off with the cow. He is right. So, one thing for I came up here twice yesterday, both sides, but I didn’t have my sticker with me. Time for Chester. Where should we put him, Kyle? Put me in the middle. Yeah, there he is. Chesty Bow, the mascot. So, if you’re coming up here, it’s Chester. Ah, doggy. Right, Chess is on the sign. The bass are chilling and I’m about to chill down this cloud. 4,039 km. Is that what I’m on? 4,039. 61.6% done. Hey, that’s a good feeling. Nearly there. Almost there. Almost there. Nearly there. Yeah. Just a few more mountains to tackle, right? I’ll meet you at the meat point then. Bottom of here, basically. Yeah. Okay. Wow. Look at this. Time to yell. Woohoo! Wow! So magnificent. Woohoo! Woohoo! windy. Oh, that descent was awesome. Right, I’m heading up again a little bit now. I’m going to meet Carl before the next big climb. But two mountains down, two to go. So, I’m feeling positive. Just got to tap him out really, as my friend Jesse Yates would say. Just tap tap tap like a little tap dancer. This is a lovely little place. Yeah, pain. That’s what I’ve been in. Thank you. It’s gorgeous. [Music] Oh, cafe to do one of them. It’s closed. Well, I’ve got 44K to go. Two more mountains. And Ka’s delivered a bagat. Now, the next mountain I’m on my own. which is called a perad or something I don’t know peragan falcon at this point and then the last climb of the day apparently is a group joining me cuz where I’m staying tonight a lovely English couple messaged me they own this chalet so they’re giving us a night for free they’re coming out to ride tonight and yeah it’s really nice of them was the man that came up yesterday at the top of this climb so that’s really nice motivation for the end of the day two more climbs to go we got this how you doing today Carly Yeah. Yeah. I don’t know where the stick’s gone for me. GoPro, but Oh dear. Don’t look away. Look away. You’re not allowed in my seat. Looking away. Don’t look yet. Yeah. Look now. Yeah. This is to go. Oh my god. When you went off in a bit of a hop, could have a little bit of a tiff. Had a bit of a tiff on the top of to cuz Kyle would know. There wasn’t the reason. The reason was because you said I was being Marty and I wasn’t. You being snappy. Um, we knew that you wanted a charm on your bike. Can we put it on the bike? So, I got a small enough put on the bike. Yay. Tommy is on the back. He’s ready to climb. A bit of extra weight for me. I thought that was a little Yeah, it’s worth the little pick me up. I love it. That has picked me up. If I’m struggling on this climb now, I’ll just say come on for me. get this. She had a low moment and I thought, “What can I do that’s going to cheer up?” Low moment on uh to Did she had one tear one tear down the old sheep, but you know, I’m going to wet me whistle now. Selfet. I mean, I’ve weted me whistle with some food. Self-doubt’s not going to get me down today. And the big red scoder keeps getting spotted cuz people keep turning around and pointing at it and stuff. Yeah, I’ve seen it a few times now. Can’t then I mean you can’t really miss the big red can you Cody without the big red giant. Yeah the big red I look forward to going up another climb later. Yeah you’re coming up super banas with me aren’t you? And apparently a load of other people are going up super bananas with a bag. An old bag. That Oh me right then. Look at him. I love him. He’s really right then. I’m going to He’s got like a little aggressive face. No angry. It’s an angry little It’s an angry little fella. Mountain day. Right. Make sure my shorts are on properly. I saw that in the photo you used. Yeah, that is me. When I’m angry, I did go in the shop to get used. Didn’t go in to get a coffee. When I’m angry, I grow little goat horns like that. Right then, let go. Here we go. It’s the next climb on the menu. Call the pirisod. That’s how you say it. Pirisod. So, average gradient 6.7%, maximum 11.7%. So, it’s not that bad, but it’s 10k long and my legs are tired. I’ve still got another mountain after this. So, nice and steady, positive mindset, and we’ll get up there. Let’s do this. Now, this section of the climb I’m coming to, I’ve already done yesterday. The TT comes up from there and carries on up here, the TT on stage 13. So, it includes a bit of the same climb, but I think it goes a different way at the top. 1,890 ft to go. Keeping on pedaling. Oh, thank you so much. I’ll stop. I’ll stop. Thank you so much. Oh, that’s so nice. Oh, that was so nice. They came out to cheer me just when I needed it because I’m sweating from places that I didn’t know existed right now. Still going up. It’s gorgeous. I’m focusing on that. Keep on going. Less than 3k to go. The climb isn’t actually that bad. It’s just the heat. The heat’s getting me. Feel like a hot dog on a sizzler. Sizzle me up right now. Yesterday we went right here for the TT, but today go straight on. So that’s the difference. Suppose we’ll go right when they do stage 13. Go straight on today for stage 14. So bit of a different bit now. Nearly there. Woo! This one’s tough in the heat at the end. 1.2K to go. 404 ft to climb. [Applause] [Music] Hi. Lovely neck. That’s what you want to see at the top. All that energy. I did it. Hallelujah. Here we are. Where should Chester go today? Uh, I can’t really lean very well. I’ got me back in me hand. Hang on. Let’s just put him where I can reach. There he goes. There he is. Oh. Oh, feels good to be here, let me tell you. One more mountain to go and then I’m done. Just had to stop by this little sign. [Music] That’s where I’m going, I think. Is it Bagar? Yeah, super bad is the next climb. That’s where I am. 1,563 ft. Oh, there’s a drone up there. There’s Panta shining and the little mascot, Tommy. Hey there, little fella. I’m so proud of myself for getting up here. Honestly, that was so hot. But I am a bit nervous about the next climbs like 4,000 ft. And I think there’s a group coming with me, which would be lovely, but also when I’m struggling up a climb, sometimes I am better on my own, but obviously I don’t want to say like don’t come cuz it’s rude and I really appreciate the support. But, you know, like just when you feel the pressure if they’re going a bit faster or hopefully it’ll be fine and I’m just it’s only my own head. But yeah, K will be there. I’ve just got to really try and stay positive up the next climb. Try not to cry cuz I’m quite tired. But one more climb to go. That’s a lot. I’ve done 1,00 13,58 ft. We got 3,858 555 ft to go today. So, I can do it. Well done, Bravo. So, Just done a quick stop on my descent down cuz this is one of the only villages I’ve seen around here that’s actually got some to France deck up. So well done whoever you are. I don’t know who it is but there’s another bit down here. And they’ve even got some flags. So thank you for that. Hang on. Let’s have a look. Let’s have a look what it says. It says tour to France 70th passage. Oh, is it like the 70th time it’s come through here? I don’t know. Something like that. Anyway, Luchon. So, this is where I’m staying somewhere in Luchon. And the climb starts from down here. So, I’ll go and find where Kyle and the others are. And then it’s time for the last climb. I’m feeling a bit nervous, but I know I can do it. This is Luchon where the basic climb starts. Kyle says they’re going to come out and meet me somewhere. So, just keep my eyes peeled for them. Hey, there’s loads of shops and stuff. Oh, look at that. Bakery Delights and a big cow statue of Kyle. Right, where are you then, Kylie? Here we are. Right, let’s do this. We got Kyle climbing all the way up. And there was a little uh cheering committee down in the town with little horns and things cheering me on. So, that’s given me a boost. Last climb of the day. Let’s do this. Finish off. Finish off the day. Here we go. 3 750 ft. 3,200 ft to go. I’m loving this. Just chatting away. This is the fellow we’re staying with tonight. Kyle just said, “Are we going up there?” I’m loving hope not, Kyle. Wow, looks a bit higher than where we’re going, mate. Just enjoy this last bit now. This morning when I set off in the rain or in the dark, drizzle, road closure, crying. I was just Yeah. Envisioning this. So, last climb. We got this. I’m staying back so I don’t get a draft. I don’t want a draft. I want to do it on my own. Oh, so cute. So beautiful. Someone else has come to join us now. 9K to go. I’m struggling a bit, but I’m just keeping going. 9K is nothing compared to what I’ve done today compared to what I’ve done overall. So, just got to keep going. Keep pedaling. Look at that view. It’s amazing. I think we’re heading up there. Keep on going. We got this. Right. Dave’s with us and he’s talking me up the climb. Thanks for coming out, Dave. I met Dave at Kendall Mountain Fest. He’s lovely. Just talking about how much we’ve got to eat, won’t we? Yeah. Got to eat a lot. Tubs of ice cream before bed is on order, apparently. Apparently that’s what um Who’s that? Who’s it? Was that Remco? I watch that same video. His breakfast is enormous. Have you done this climb before, Dave? Only once. Yeah. I thought it was hard then. Yeah. Yeah. It’s not an easy one. Come down. It took me 15 minutes to come down. It’s always quicker going down. [Music] It’s only 10 years old. It’s gorgeous. So, that’s where we’re going up there. And the top of those mountains there is Spain. So, we’re right on the Spanish border. It’s so beautiful. I’m just going to enjoy this last bit now. 3.5K to go. That’s nothing. We got this. 2K to go. We’re nearly there. That is a good feeling cuz last night when I looked at this route, I thought, how am I going to get through that? But we’re nearly there and it’s not been as bad as I thought. There has been a few low moments going up to other than that it’s been gorgeous and it’s really nice and I just got to believe in myself a bit more I think. Amy go. A someone put Amy go on the road. That’s nice. Right. 1.2k to go. 335 ft. Ramped up a bit at the end. We’re up in the clouds now, but we’re welcoming it cuz it’s keeping us cool. And we’re nearly there. In we go. I wonder who did that. It’s really nice. There’s the top. We’ve come through the cloud now. We’re nearly there. We’ve got this. Woohoo. Kyle as well. Kyle. Yay. Ding dang dong. Thank you. Nearly there. Thank you so much. Hallelujah. We made it, Kyle. Oh god, that hurt. We did it. When I looked at this stage last night, Kyle, I didn’t think I was going to do it. Hallelujah. Woohoo. Ding dang daddyo. We’re at the top and I’ve got my chest and sticker on. Do you want to get a closeup for that bad boy? There he is. It’ll probably get removed, but oh well. He’ll be there for now. This is what we’ve just done. Let me tell you one thing. That’s going to be a really good finish to the stage. It’s going to be brutal. That’s going to be an epic finish. Excited to watch the pros do that. And if it’s hot when they do it, blooming neck, good luck to them cuz it’s hard enough just twiddling up, I tell you. Anyway, it’s time for the top of the hill. I’ve got me entourage here. They all came out to cheer. Everyone that came to cheer. Yeah, it was absolutely great. But top of the hill dance, my legs have still got it. Hey, and she’s dropped my phone. Is that your phone? Sorry about that, Kyle. Right. Anyway, it’s time for a donation reveal because I did I really hoped I said by the time I get up here, I would love to have made 35,000 for the charity. So, we were on 34 point something yesterday. Yeah. See 35,880. Hang on. And with the gift aid with the gift aid 42,000. Wow, that’s epic. Thank you so much everyone. And I’ve been delivered peanut butter cookies. I mean this is great. I love you lot. Do you want to come for the rest of the tour? Join Kyle. Get some more SC. K could use a hand. Oh, they’re lovely. Thank you. I mean, it is Jeff, isn’t it? It is. I was going to call you the wrong name. It is Jeff. Is your cat car said, “Is it pregnant?” Defended it. No, cuz it’s a man actually, Kyle. So, it’s not pregnant. It’s just It just likes a few pork pies. K’s unpacking. We’re staying at this lovely place tonight. Jeff’s place. Hello. Jeff’s Are you cooking? I’m not. Vic will cook. She’s the chef. Great stuff. So, Kyle’s got a night off the cooking tonight. Hey, he’s excited about that, but he has got to wash my bike. Yeah. So, he’s not so excited about that. Right. Well, we’re at the lovely freerange chalet and we’re having starters first. Kyle, you’re getting a run for your money here cuz it’s better than your cooking. Lovely lentil salad. Incredible. Right up my street. So, we’ll do the we’ll do the ride stats when the mains arrive because I need to just make sure I’ve got them all correctly. But for now, oh, and I’ve just had a massage as well and they said my legs aren’t that bad. So, we’re doing something right now. So, less moaning tomorrow, less crying tomorrow. Oh, look at this. So, zesty taran chicken wrapped in some bacon fairly incredible. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And the pasta on the side. Pasta makes you go faster. Right. Should I do the ride stats for today then? We’re getting out on the presentation. Just before we dig in and say goodbye or or as we like to say while we’re here. The ride stats for today. You ready, Kylie? Kylie. I should be. Hang on one minute. Let me load them up. So, we did 132.37 miles, which is 213 km. We went up 16,191 ft, which is 4,935 m. My bum was in the saddle for 10 hours and 43 minutes, and my average speed was 12.4 mph. Nice and steady, and now I’m ready for a winner winner chicken dinner. Lovely bit of pasta. So yeah, I’m just really happy to get through today. We’re over £35,000 raised. So that’s very great really. And yeah, when I looked at this route this morning setting off in the dark, I thought hell’s coming. But actually, it was more like heaven with the views. So it’s a bit of a shock system here for me. Yeah, Kyle’s not had to cook tonight. Yeah, it’s getting looked after. So might get used to this. Might get someone else in case hire someone else to follow you around. Anyway, thank you so much for watching. TCF fan. Tata for now. Goodbye. Goodbye.

Hats off to Kyle for the support. It can be challenging for someone not from France, not speaking French to find supplies, baked goods, water, grocery everyday. Plus the parking and all that, great to see what a wonderful job he is doing!

I have a confession to make, everytime I see the views in the mountains, I keep hearing the Jurrasic Park theme tune 😁😆🤣
But, What a great day of riding. What I wouldn't do just to be able to ride those descents, I'd like to try the climbs but it would take me all day just to do one. And the goat teddy, as soon as I saw it I thought on the saddle, only way to go. A massive thank you to all those helping Amy & Kyle on this leg of her tour, such good camaraderie, respect and good times.
Sorry, dumb question. What helmet is Kyle wearing? Brand? Model?
AMY…YOU ROCK! Its okay to weep out your frustrations. Its called purging. Kyle is a trooper as well. Incredible Amy and Kyle, this is the best video yet. The views down those valleys are amazing. I loved the comment early on “go away brain” I say that to myself but I’m not climbing those mountains and pedalling 200 plus kms per day. This daily journey has been brilliant. Keep tapping those kms out.
