It’s going to be another chunk of time that Brimos Rob sees himself lose against his major rivals. Nepal continuing to take time on Afen. It was 11 seconds a moment ago, but he’s motoring on to the finish now. 6ks to go. He’s almost 20 seconds in front. He’s on his way, barring any sort of incident or problem to a stage win perhaps, unless Mr. Puggach can challenge from behind. We will see. It’s Nepal versus Pulata at the moment. If you’d like to watch this on several screens and have a look at all the different riders going at the same time, there you have it. You can see yellow jersey is in the bottom left. Ming’s in the top left. You can see the world champion and Olympic champion the top right hand side. Pogy in his polka dots on the bottom right hand side. It’s discovery plus for tour to France. Multiscreen here to the finish. We are back in full screen with Togachan here. losing time to a Nepal for the moment. It’s a 10second deficit. He’s pushing every corner, isn’t he? Yes, he is. Uh, you know, on the limit here going into those corners and, you know, we talked about, you know, all the prep beforehand doing the wrecky and uh, you uh, you know, you just get out there and you have to give it your all in the corners. They have to be risk taken and they’re all doing the same. Robbie, your reaction there being your 12th place provisionally at the middle time check 50 seconds down. 50 seconds. He wasn’t thinking he would be giving up at that point. He wouldn’t be. At the beginning of the day, Removal said, “I I think I’m capable of taking 58 seconds.” What he needed to take on Yiannis Vinegard to pass him on GC was 50 seconds. That is the deficit right now for Vinegard. So he sees Remco even leapfrogging on GC. The next question is, has Patcha gone out too quick? Will we see a bit of a blow up there? Otherwise, it looks as though it’s on for the stage. Paul Gachad would be heading towards the yellow jersey. Let’s see. Look at this. Meter by meter, he’s building seconds in here. Well, this is the thing now, as I said before, with the course, the wind conditions firmly against them early on with the freshening wind into their faces in the first 15k, but after that, it’s all advantage for the late riders. crosswind into cross tail and then full tailwind down to the finish. Churning those massive chain rings they got on and right down into the 11 or even the 10 cog for some of them and they’ll be hitting speeds up above 70 km an hour on the way to the finish and Remco just chewing up the road. Here comes second time check for Pog. 30 seconds on Yas Vinor. 30 seconds half a minute but behind some time but behind Remco Nepal as you say sixth place provisionally at that middle time check 16.4 seconds in. It’s looking a good day for Bulgatra at the minute Sean but the stage win looks like it could be on the way to even yes it looks like that. 11 is living up to, you know, the expectations we were expecting from him and, uh, he was talking it up himself. He was going to take, you know, time in this one against the other two big rivals. He’s doing it against Ving and Go, but we can see Pogcha, he’s defending very well here. And, uh, it’s going to be an interesting one now as we do the final kill with the big uh, the big favorites here to see what the distance will be, but you can see Remco Evan Paul for the stage win. It looks like he’s on route to get that. And yeah, the question is now how much is Vingal going to lose here? Because he seemed to be, you know, losing time as we go on. I thought he might be able to, you know, dig a bit deep or start limiting his losses. [Applause] Oh, what a way to be buzzed on towards the finish. 10ks to go to Vlan if he’s motivation. He is going to lose the white jersey today, but don’t talk to him about that. He’s got breathing down his back and passing him. But quicker than quicker than Vingor. Wow. Yeah. When you hear that coming down the radio, quicker than Ro, quicker than Vinegar, quicker than Jorgensson, that is music to Valan’s ears. And this is turning into a drama for Yiannis Vinegard. But the man who is walking the talk is in the rainbow bands in the time trial. Remco apool on an absolute tear in K. The way he’s been building time into this final section of the race ever since that middle check the second half he has motored along. You wonder what Pugga has in the locker because we’re talking about Pugatcha putting a good race in comparison to Vingigor. Remember there was those 58 seconds and you heard the interview last night. You think do you know what? He’s a confident young man, isn’t he? He’s bullish. He’s bold. He’s brave. Tell you what, he might not be far away. Let’s see. I I think Remco really I not think I know Remco really loves to say things and give himself something to live up to. That’s the pressure he thrives on and gets the best out of himself. He’s doing it. Final few quarters here. Noise as well. I mean, he won’t be able to take too much of this in. full concentration hanging onto this effort by the end here now. But you’re looking at the best exponent of this art in the world currently. And look at how he lent into those corners. Perfection from Apool. Yes. Well, when you’re in this position, you’re so focused. You’re just staring at the road out in front. You’re just not thinking or, you know, looking what’s uh beside you. You don’t take any notice of the crowd there. You just get on with your focus to get to the finish line as fast as possible. 600 m still to go. Traveling at 60k an hour in and around these turns. He knows exactly when to put the power on. 500 meters to the line. And again, he’s on the pedals. Every single second counts for Remco Ignapul. Edoard Rafini today put in quite the ride. And look at this. Look at this. The time is green. He’s sprinting for every second here. Remco Ignap all the way to the line. The Olympic champion, the world champion this morning said he could do it. He can exchange them for yellow for that. Will have to wait. But it looks as though it’s going to be stage win to the Belgium at the time trial. Disappointment for the European champ. The world champ does it. And here Nepal steps up against the clock at the tour to France. Look at the serenity on Remco’s face despite the effort that he’s been making for 33 km. the concentration, the focus, but the calmness, the relaxed look on his face. He has nailed every single element of this time trial from the get-go down the ramp to the final centimeter across the line. This has been perfection. Shapor, well, what a performance there. And you know, we talked about him times railing. He is just an unbelievable. We see Ainia there in the hot seat for so long.

  1. Pogadcar has the Yellow, Green and Mountain Jersey. Would have the white Jersey aswell if he would be a Little Bit younger. Tour is finished. I know the excitment 2022 or 2023 but now its just boring. They could stop at this Point. There wont change anything except the Green Jersey I guess

  2. Add a single sport only sub. That 31 per month is insane if all you want is to watch the tour. I am sorry, but that 31 is not worth it to me. In addition to that we are now finding out that for that 31 pounds in the UK we are still subjected to ads every 12 minutes. This is ridiculous for a paid subscription. Last year it was 6.99. This year 31. What?

  3. People really watch Cycling without knowing anything. I am neither a Pogačar nor a Jonas fan. I love both of them they are incredible but they are definitely different types of right you cannot compare their times on this course Jonas is not a rider for flat time trials o or flat stages in general his strong point lies within the mountains since he can withhold an incredible amount of power of a long duration while Pogačar is more complete and able to push out higher watts in the flats or in the Sprints
    He is heavier also

So please stop commenting something like the tour is washed or already over let’s enjoy the coming weeks and great performances

I am pumped for the mountain stages because then a real battle will begin

  4. The English coverage I’m getting in Spain on MAX is just Brian Smith and a total dumb f**k called Marty. Anybody know how I can tune in to the Rob Hatch, Robbie McEwen commentary??

  5. Pogy is currently the best. Remco it is also good, but not enough to compete with it. He drove exactly what he needed, Remco only won one stage with all his might 😉
