Looking to upgrade from my intro bike that I use for local rides, tours, and triathlons. I normally place in my age group and want a bike that can enhance my performance as well as a bike that I won’t be needing to replace anytime soon.

Honestly no. Not only is it a rim brake bike with very little tire clearance its aero rim brakes. If im trying to buy a bike that i wont feel the need to replace for a long time i want all the current standards t/a, disc, wide tire clearance etc. if you really want a forever bike i would throw in 27.2 seatpost but thats not a deal breaker. If you can strech the budget to $2500 i would recommend the base allez sprint
2016 from the looks of it. No disc brakes. Ehhh…not sure I’d pay $2200 for it but I’m no expert. Looking at other threads, I’d probably avoid it if it was up to me.

F No.
A fast bike that will be an absolute nightmare to own and maintain.
Nope. That type of rim breaks sucks
From a mechanic’s perspective, this bike is a waking nightmare to work on.
From a rider’s perspective, it rides like it’s made out of plywood.
I’d pass.
