Experience from my daughter’s point of view ☺️
Mallorca – very picturesque, this is random but i have noticed ppl in mallorca have lots of unique ways of transport. like i’ve seen electric scooters, family cycling car things, motorbikes, tour buses, bendy buses, hop on and off buses, normal bicycles, walking, taxi, even horseback. ppl in palma do horseback too, and young ppl like teens or young adults do skateboards.
• Sa Coma – HM Mar Blau = opinions: nice hotel, welcoming, alright buffet, fair customer service, good facilities.
– Day 1 – Cala Millor (beach) = big, lukewarm water, sand gets very hot, no fish at all, very salty water, small to medium strength water, wear whatever u want bc ppl r even topless, water is shallow for abt 3 metres across with sand floor, hip height at 3-5ish metres and seems strongest here and smooth ish rock floor, gets slowly deeper, deepest i went was to shoulders at 8ish metres from shore with sand floor, nearby shops have decent stuff and not too overpriced. also a note, pretty much every single shop in mallorca that we’ve entered has some sort of souvenirs and those weird things yk. Many shops have almost the exact same things, apart from a few unique shops like various handmade clothes shops.
– Day 2 & 5 – Porto Cristo (market + beach, shops like alehop, restobar restaurant, random half broken stone steps leading to higher ground, opinions: beach had pretty calm water on that day, sand floor in water with a little seaweed. and i think huts costed €15 for 2. porto cristo market has lots of tourists and pretty expensive holiday bracelets etc etc, €6 for a tiny pair of pearl earrings.
– Day 3 – Manacor (market, shops + cathedral, stradivarius, sa fonda restaurant, opinions: decent, rlly overpriced, again not much amazing stuff in market but slightly more variation than porto cristo, i got a top from a market stall for €15, restaurant was ehh, i had crema catalana and idk if its js the dish but it felt like cold slop)
– Day 4 – Palma (found a parking space with difficulty tbh, walked through rlly cool towns, saw ppl on horseback and skateboards, visited the cathedral next to the river but didn’t go in bc of paying for tickets, briefly looked at nearby areas like museum, ppl getting caricatures done, went to the guiness house restaurant which has fast service and nice toffee coffee that i didn’t mix fully by mistake but still nice. jewellery stores were decent but a little expensive. castell bellver was very cool, decent stairs for climbing up, city view)
– la chiacchiere (restaurant, cool that owner can speak sm languages, served me the whole tray of lasagna so i was lowk surprised but it was okay, i had like 1/3 and gave 2/3 to navtan bc he said he’ll take it)
– best services = nail nieves, kohinoor restaurant
