One other small thing to ask you about from yesterday in one stage in a feed zone, you were going for a bottle and it looked as though Pagacha’s arm was outstretched and this led to you missing the bottle. What happened? I don’t need to comment publicly, I think, but yeah. Uh I missed a model. There was a fit zone and we were riding one line. I uh I show an intention to go to the for my bottle for my sw my swear was like 20 m after visma but they decided to pass us on the right side. So I if I wanted to take a bottle I could not uh do anything else than uh give him a little bit push so I could catch my bottle. any bad blood in that or was it just like a I mean a a normal gesture from me was normal but I don’t know what was their intention but they they do this a lot of times coming uh in front of you when uh his spit zone like like if they are the only one uh having the the bottles there uh so yeah sometimes you have to be patient and stay on the wheel when you’re taking the bottles and uh pay respect to the everybody I don’t know if we get to talk to him ourselves now but Almeida. Do you can you give us an update on him? Yeah. Um Z is uh pretty hurt. He has a broken rib and uh he thinks broken finger as well. So it’s going to be tough day on the bike for him. But uh he wants to do this. He wants to start. Uh but yeah, that just show how how good of a a guy he is. devoted teammate and uh yeah I have a huge respect that he he tries to start today but yeah we will see if he can uh he can ride the bike and uh finish the stage. That’s just it. Everybody talks about well tad’s got this race wrapped up but there’s danger around every corner in the tour of France. Uh can you explain how that is and how you don’t have this race wrapped up? Yeah, obviously it’s it’s the biggest race of the of the of cycling of the world and uh everybody’s uh super focused, super nervous. The body get it’s hard race the body get tired. Uh it’s nervous nervous and uh yeah at some point bad luck can happen. Uh, every day is there’s some uh some things that can can be and uh you need to be careful until the the the finish line in Paris. Looking as sharp as you’ve ever been, I think in the tour to France, is that the feeling you have? Um, no, you’re good. Oh, wow. Yeah. No, that’s true. I feel I feel um the best I ever have at this race. Are you happy with how it’s going so far? think maybe there were missed opportunities or you have any regrets so far or things are on track? Um, no, no regrets actually. I think uh from my side I’ve been doing a really good race and I’m really proud of myself. Um, every day has been almost every day has been a challenge except for stage three I think it was. Um, and every day has been really full of focus. I’ve been in all the right moves, uh, known the parkour and studied it. So, yeah, I feel proud with that. And um we’re through the first week which is pretty awesome. Jonas is racing stronger than ever. It seems he has that kick and he’s talked about it having that punch. What’s your take so far of this first week of racing? I mean how things are stacked up? Obviously TAD looks superior. What’s your take so far and what’s possible? Uh we got through the first week really well. I think we tried uh multiple times to uh find a find a moment where we could take time on TAD. It didn’t happen in this first week. Uh the TT I think was a down day for both of us. But in general, I come out of it very positive. We didn’t have any crashes in the team. We didn’t have any illnesses. Uh we’re still two in the top six GC and Yonas is still really close. And also to me just being able to follow Pagotch on these explosive days uh especially the day a few days ago um when he went full on like a 15% climb. It’s impressive to see Yona’s following and for me that shows he’s a he’s a step up. So only remains to be seen if we can if we can find some time in the mountains.

  1. Visma guys are the most cucked out boys ever in modern cycling. Not one of their riders have the sack to say what they really think.

  2. LOL…Visma is made of losers if they employ tactics like these…I mean…come on, beat Pogi on the road mano a mano, not using shitty tactics like these…the truth is Pogacar, in a few years time, will be remembered as legendary rider in the grounds of Merckx, while Vingegaard, despite being talented will be "just another one", because lets be honest, we might have more "Vingegaards" in the future, but I´m sure we won´t have another Pogacar in a long time

  3. Guys, they both made unfair move. However, if I would get crossed like that I would most likely react the same way. Especially if this happens frequently. And with Visma is this highly likely. So, in my opinion the move from Tadej is completely justified.

  4. What a princess. Does he expect others to just sit around and wait until he's won in Paris? It's racing, they will try everything to make him understand he's not going to win without sweating and suffering.
Stop with this bottle crap, all others have to make way for the yellow princess apparently. It's racing, he's the first to have a team rolling all over the place but behold someone else doing it.

  5. The making of a new Americam Cheater! Visma is a desperate LOSER!!! Their Director Sportif lliterally is a face of a Cheat and desperation. Shame on you VISMA!

  6. Tadej Pogačar may have received a penalty after stage 7 of the Tour de France for pushing Matteo Jorgenson. Jorgenson has confirmed that he lost a water bottle due to the push. Why doesn't he get a penalty when he could have knocked him off his bike?

  7. IF this was intentional it’s pretty sad and scummy that someone else had to mess his nutrition up in order to MAYBE get a chance at getting time. So wild but I doubt it was with the amount of fatigue both physically and mentally your decision making in fast situations gets much worse so maybe he just needs some more carbs or ketones haha.

  8. very biased way that you choose to say how things happened, you say that Pog was stressed and he lets Matteo miss the bottle. In fact Pog SHOVED Matteo, ok? this was a very rude move and it could have caused Matteo to fall. Pog deserved a yellow card for that. He has no excuse, even if he was stressed, he cannot lose control like that. All Pog fans celebrate Pog's bullying behaviour, this is very shameful. Matteo lost his bottle too, so he couldn't hydrate, so to suggest that this was a Visma tactic to not let Pog hydrate is stupid and very malicious.

  9. Matteo was in position for a water bottle, TP was not, end of story. Did TP expect riders to forego a bottle and move out of his way so he could ride over to get his? Childish behavior on the part of TP, lucky for him that Matteo didnt respond in kind.
