Centerlock on a cheaper bike, 6 bolt on a more expensive one?

And I’m a bit puzzled by the component choice, for example the cheaper bike having centerlock and the mix and match of Shimano and SRAM.

Is this because these bikes were specced during the pademic times where parts shortages were a thing?
