No that’s what too expensive for a 15 year old bike. I think the sweet spot is bikes that are 2-4 years old. They are usually about half of their original MSRP.. and they have new enough technology that the latest & greatest stuff doesn’t matter.

Maybe $600-700. As others have said you can buy a better bike for 2k that is new.
Edit: I have that bike in a different color, and after buying a new Emonda and updating it, there is no way I’d ever ride a bike that old again.
