It’s going to be uh probably the first real GC battle. I think on paper the the climbs are not the hardest ones, but it’s up and down all the day. Come on. You’re the strongest. You’re the strongest. I remember the stage in last year. And now cracks. If it’s going to be the same tomorrow, I think we might expect already some first cracks in the GC. The top two riders in the tour are yet again Tadip Pagacha and Yonas Wenger. Are you going to be on the offensive or on the defensive today? Yeah, that’s the question. Pagatcha goes and Venard can’t go. Can he do it? Hauling himself pedal rev by pedal rev back onto the wheel of the world champion. It’s always better to have more time. Pagatcha starts. Fenagard is going to go with him. The more important is not to lose time. I would have liked to do a better time trial there. Obviously, I would have liked to to lose a little bit less time there. Yeah, let’s go for it. Who will celebrate the storming of the Basti by successfully storming up and down the massive central? No fewer than eight category climbs, a GC battle, or a breakaway going the distance. Perhaps it’ll be both. Let’s be conservative there. It’s going to be it’s going to take a bit of time to get through the break. It’s good that you are there, but don’t waste the bullets. More attacks. More attacks from Viz Malisa bike. Yep. Big attack of Yates. You can see that style out the saddle. Nearly 30 riders at the head of the race. Teammates Simon Yates and Victor Campenards there as an early indicator of Vizma’s intention to crank up the pressure. Pseudo Quickstep represented by Vanten Par and Remco Evanipole’s main climbing companion Elant Van Valdo. Their Belgian leader back in the Pelton tucked in behind team UAE controlling the Pelton with a steady pace. The best placed Escape in the GC was Ben Healey just under four minutes down and the French promised then delivered their presence in the break. Lenny Martinez and Julian Araflee hoping to deliver on the Fed Nasau. A reasonable gap to control but sparks were about to fly. Ben O Connor goes on the attack. The Australians attack asking questions of who could respond. Around 15 managing to do so. Lenny Martinez in particular on the hunt for the polka dots and nabbing enough points to be the virtual king of the mountain. As they reorganized, it was EF Education’s Harry Sweeney setting a fierce pace that would help put teammate Ben Healey into the virtual yellow jersey. Thank just thank you. 30 final kilometers in this small but elite group of riders had survived at the head of the race. The winner of the stage to be decided between them who could make the stage winning attack. Quinn Simmons clearly threw his name into the hat, but a long way from a defining move. Back down the road, Bizma Malisa bike were trying to pressure the yellow jersey of Pagacha. Jorgensson and Cous testing out the world champion. And of course, they’ve done this on the Galibbeia a couple of years ago, if you remember, sending riders and then uh Vindigard with that big attack going from rider to rider to rider. Not too much. But then on this car, not too much. Keep an eye on the others. Guys, stay close to and communicate between you. Another move of Jorgensson. Tatty Pagatcha has to close it. Come on, boys. Really good. I like this. This is what we want to do. attack of Simon Yates as he reaches the bottom of the climb. Ben Healey tries to go with him. The winner of the Jiro Ditalia, the winner of Love Welter, goes onto the final climb of the day with a move to try and win the stage. The British rider reaches the top of the climb, breaks into a smile. He’s now got a hat-tick of victories in the Tour to France. Yates wins stage 10. Here’s a big attack. Remco apole decides to go. Remco strikes and Paga decides it’s not worth going. The Irish rider reaches the line and the clock starts. He has got 3 minutes and 55 seconds to wait to find out if he is the yellow jersey. And here goes Pagatcha. Pagatcha’s decided. Well, today you’ve tried, but now I’m going to show you who’s the boss. Ben Healey celebrates. He is going to be on the podium in yellow. And here is Lenny Martinez on Bastile Day. Has done a wonderful job for France and Bahrain victorious. Paga on his wheel finishes about 4 minutes and 21 seconds behind Ben Healey. Winning the Jurro. You still have the legs. Uh it’s not easy. I’m still a bit tired from there, but uh stage played out in a way that I could be there for the for the stage and yeah, I took took it with both hands. It’s a fairy tale, you know. Uh if you told me this before the tour, I think I I wouldn’t have believed you, you know. So, say to win and yellow jersey, it’s it’s just Yeah. incredible and uh beyond belief really. Simon Yates earns his third tour stage win, but first for six years. The reigning Jirro champion holding off tour debutant Timman Arsen for the Inoss Riders best stage result. And Ben Healey third yet the Irishman in radiant yellow. How to top a stage four win become Ireland’s first yellow jersey since 1987. No movement in the points classification. Jonathan Milan still in green. The only rider to have broken 200 point barrier. Lenny Martinez made sure Frenchman was in a major jersey on Bastid. A swashbuckling performance to be the current king of the mountains. And Ben Healey’s heroic saw him take the white jersey too. 1 minute 29 on Evanapul while Voclan had a bad day at the office.

  1. Yates, the Surgical Poet

Simon Yates did not attack: he executed. With the precision of a Swiss watchmaker and the melancholy of an English violinist, he launched his offensive at the precise moment, when the slopes of the Massif Central became confessionals of suffering. There were no theatrics or heroic gestures. Only certain pedal strokes, like verses polished with conscience by a Byron of the heights.

His solitary arrival at Mont-Dore was that of a poet who, after crossing out a verse a thousand times, finally finds the perfect form. The thermal waters that sprang during the Roman Empire seemed to bless his triumph, while the peaks of Puy de Sancy – that volcanic giant of 1,885 meters that has dominated the Massif Central for three million years – served as silent witness to his ballet of steel and will.

  2. UAE Completely dropped the ball or they are Not very strong . Jonas and Visma clearly look much stronger . What strategy can UAE Possibly was thinking turned into a Blunder Fast . Tadej Can Not separate from Jonas and With UAE Domestiques dropping like Flies , Visma is clearly much much strongert . Its over for UAE , By the 14 stage Jonas & Visma will have taken over and Jonas will win probably by 4.5 to 5 minutes .

  3. Organizers: How to make this year edition exciting when everyone knows the “super and natural” TP will win? Maybe same way they controlled last Saturday stage when riders didn’t want to go on a break way. The organizers simply “asked” DS to make the race more “spicy” for TV viewers. Keep people entertained and they will not make questions. 7Watt/kg on beet juice 😂

  4. EF strategy execution better this year? Harry Sweeny drilling it to get the break to go and then Healy, man, what a ride from him again! Letting go the chance to win the stage was necessary to get the yellow jersey

  5. what a ride from Ben Healy, he went a very long way in that breakaway with no other riders willing to pull, he was on the front for what seemed like an eternity and still out over 4 minutes into Pogacar for the yellow jersey!

  6. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓░░░░░░░░░░░
    1686.0 km covered / 3338.8 km
    20,300 m / 52,500 m of total vertical gain
    172 / 184 riders

  7. The first half of these highlights was really bad – 1:20 of the last stage and then helicopter shots with no point.
Second half was better but what a silly first half.

  8. that edits are so spot on, i really love that style of highlights. big thank you to the editer. i have to say that every day. keep up the amazing work there
