Might be an odd question but I’m looking to commute to and from work 16 miles one way on the northern rail trail. I leave at 3am so it’ll be dark out. Just wondering if anyone else has commuted or rode at night on the/a rail trail with any tips

I used to commute to work everyday in Netherlands during the winter. Although I would leave my house around 6, it would still be dark as hell. Strong lights and extra careful is needed but you will arrive at work full of energy. Be safe.
