When you are in Udine, i suggest you to reach Grado first, and the to Trieste.
From Villach to Grado there’s a super nice cyclopath

  2. I suppose you’re from Austria, so you know about Austrian cycle routes. Like Drauweg to Villach, and Alpe Adria to Italy. From Tarvisio to Udine is amazing. To Grado, not so much for me.

But, you can also check the routes in Slovenia, it’s beautiful there. You can check the options on this site [https://www.bike-alpeadria.eu/en/long-distance-cycling-routes/](https://www.bike-alpeadria.eu/en/long-distance-cycling-routes/) .

In Croatia, you can check [Velebit National Park](https://np-sjeverni-velebit.hr/www/en/visiting/cycling-tours), which is a bit more south than your route. Mountainous but very nice.

After Bihać and Una river, if you’ll like more karst rivers you can check out Slunj, and rivers Korana and/or Mrežnica, which will bring you towards Karlovac.
