    You need to learn bump jumps first. This teaches you how to make the wheels leave the ground from the same point and not at the same time. This is crucial for jump progression.

    Please don’t add speed. With your current motion this will only cause a nose dive and most likely OTB. Learn how to bump jump. This teaches you how to make the wheels leave the ground from the same point and not at the same time. This is crucial for jump progression.

    Focus on your legs with the pumping. Almost like a subtle hop and pressing hard into the down transition. The reason pump tracks work for building jump skill is because every single jump no matter the size or shape needs to be pumped. More important then jumping is landing. Oump tracks alow you to make mistakes without real consequence. In the beginning you wont be able to move fast enough to jump in the pump track. This will change with time. First step is effortless pumping.
