    Most important thing with road bikes is to get the sizing right. Look up some charts to get a ballpark from your height, then ideally find a guide which takes into account your inseam and reach as well.

    As for these bikes, they’re both pretty old examples, from the 2000s I think. Unless there’s something weird going on with your local market, 350 is a pretty steep ask I’d say. More worth closer to 200.

    Specialized are certainly a good make, but they’re not the only one you should bother looking at. Trek, Cannondale, Giant are probably the biggest names you’ll come across, but there’s a dozen others besides. The trick is figuring out the difference between smaller but reliable manufacturers, and department store brands which aren’t worth bothering with.
