Just noticed cable to front brake on Domane Al4 rubbed off headtube paint. I put painters tape on it to stop the damage. Questions:
- Is this rubbing dangerous? Due to rubbing of cable?
- Is it a sign the cabling is wrong or is this normal?
- Is it worth getting fixed or is just the way it is?
Thank you

On the Checkpoint, this is a known problem. If it’s the brake line(like the checkpoint) you can take off the front brake caliper, twist it 360 to create separation, then reattach the brake.
Edit: This is a pretty simple fix, just make sure your brake is lined up when you put it back on, and DO NOT press your brakes before the caliper is nested with the rotor
