It’s carbon
Hmm this is brand new? Looks like some issues in the painting on the fork.
Fork is ud carbon with only a clear coat over it. What you are seeing are the sheets of carbon and joins between them.

Buys a carbon bike – is surprised by the fact that it’s in fact carbon. On a serious note canyon should put a little disclaimer on the product page mentioning that you can see the carbon structure through the clear coat
