Hello and welcome to highlights of stage seven of the Jerroalia women. Today was the queen stage from Vimeano to Monte Noni 150 km ahead of the riders with more than 3,600 m of climbing. Modern Royster in the pink overall leaders jersey just 16 seconds ahead of Longer Bulggini. We also have Neidmite in the white, Lorena Vivas in the red for the points and Jagante in the blue. for the best climber. This was the route. We had an intermediate sprint early on on an uncatategorized climb. Plenty of climbing in today’s stage. Second category climb, a third category climb, another second category climb before an uncatategorized climb. And then the first category climb up to the finish line today. The 14.8 km test to Montana. Three rider breakaway was clear at the front of the race. Sharon Van Anroy for Little Trek, Austin LZ for Labor Ka and Herz for team Bizma Lisa Bike. Celia Jerry for FDJ Suez was stuck in the middle though trying to get on terms with the breakaway. The Pelaton more than 5 minutes back at the moment. So the virtual pink jersey was with Shireen Vanroy of Legal Trek. This breakaway working well together as we approach our uncatategorized climb before the finish. All eyes on Marlon Rice. Would she be able to keep a pink jersey today? Alongside Lyanna Lipet there, yesterday’s stage winner as we could see Juliet Leu struggling on the uncatategorized climb with 30k to go. The Pelaton was headed up by Maria Bonito. Sharin van Androy was able to go solo from the breakaway getting a gap on the descent. And then it was Sylvia Persico with Alisa Longer Bulgini and Lyanna Liper who also got a gap on the descent. Big question here. Huge risky move by UAE ADQ and work to do for Moves behind. Maron Royce have plenty of teammates in the group but as we approach the climb of Monte with 14.8K to go. Shir van an was clear. Sylvia Persco headed up the chase group with longer Bulggini glued to her wheel. Vanna Lippet sat on the back there not doing any work for the rider from Mobistar and they were gradually gaining on the Pelaton. Crucially just 16 seconds separated Longer Boggini and Marlon Royster coming into today’s stage. Persico was done working for Longer Boggini. Longer Boggini would continue with Lip on her wheel. Last year’s winner Bogini wanting to put herself into the pink and Lyanna Lippett was done unable to hold onto the wheels of the Italian national road race champion Lyanna Lipett was heading back to what remained of the Pelaton and her team leader Maron Royer Sher van Andro was still solar at this stage with 8.8 8 km to go of the finishing climb. Huge amount of work for Maria Meyering on the front for Martin Royceer trying to bring the gaps down. A very select group formed with the pink jersey Martin Royster but still Longer Bogini was clear. This was the moment Sarah Jagante, the winner of stage 4, also up a first category climb, went clear solo for AG Insurance Sudal attacking the group of favorites. Malcotti tried to follow for human power but not able to follow the wheel of the superstar climber that is Sarah Jagante. Up ahead on the climb long Borgini was catching Shirin Vanroy. Brilliant character chase there for the Italian champion. She caught Vanroy and went past and then Sarah Jagante came up towards Longer Bulgini as well. Small pause for Jagante to take a bit of recovery with 3 km remaining of this climb. But then she went clear, attacking along Bogini and heading off solo with 2.4K to go. As we looked back at the group of favorites, Marlon Roy was just struggling to hold the wheels here. This group headed up by Barbara Malcotti and the gap we were seeing 49 seconds between Longa Bogini and Royer. Jiggante coming to the line solar to take her second stage victory at this year’s Jirroatalia women following iliac artery surgery back in December. She is back. The clock was on though all eyes on Longa Bogghini. She would finish second. 45 seconds down on Jagante picking up some bonus seconds on the line and still the clock was ticking back to Marlon Royer. Isabella Homegrren finished third on the stage. Fourth the modern Royer but losing more than 30 seconds to longer bulge. Celebrations for insurance. Disappointment for Martin Roya there with Antonia Nemier. Smiles for Longo Boggini having won this race last year and leading from start to finish. Not until stage seven would she take the pink jersey. Jagante the winner on the stage and the results were Jagante from Longa Borgghini Holgrren in third, Royer in fourth, Neidmari in fifth, Malcotti sixth, Seagart in seventh. Celebrations for Jagante with another stage victory for her. [Music] But the overall standings were changing longer. Borgghini now leading by 22 seconds from Marlon Royce with one stage remaining. Jagante puts herself up onto the podium in third. Celebrations for Alisa Longer Borggini back in the Malia Rosa with one tough stage remaining. And this is the stage we have tomorrow. Very tough day out for the riders. 34 km, eight categorized climbs as we ride loops of the Imila circuit previously used for the World Championships back in 2020. One intermediate sprint, eight categorized climbs, 134 km, more than 2,400 m of climbing as we finish on the Imala Auto Drrome. A tough day out tomorrow. [Music]

  2. VDB has lost her engine. Will Gigante become the female version of Marco Pantani? That is the question. Everyone was anointing Gaia Realini. Women only received 6 minutes for a decisive stage. Men received 35 minutes for a training ride.
