I’ve been having a recurring issue with clicking on my left downstroke. I’ve taken my bike to multiple shops who haven’t been able to find the root cause and fix it. Shops have cleaned my components and I had my bottom bracket replaced (requested by me, not suggested by them) a few months ago since nobody could fix the noise. The noise went away after my BB was replaced but came back about 7 months later. I assume it’s another bottom bracket issue since it did briefly stop after it was replaced but since then the noise has been consistent.
I’ve also lubed my bike and verified my seat/post are ok. My pedals are also ok and nothing is shifting on them. The noise is getting quite annoying. Should I ask the shop to replace my BB (68mm English threaded) again? It shouldn’t fail that frequently. I’m a heavier rider by the way (239lbs/5’9) and I put a lot of power into pedaling so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. What else can I suggest the repair shop check? I assumed because they’re the bike pros they would know what they’re doing but they can’t even fix my bike.
Does my bottom bracket need to be replaced again?

Pull the chainring off and grease the tabs on the crank then reinstall and see what it does.
I don’t know, but why are You pedaling with tour heels?
How many miles did you put in during those 7 months ?
