Bon masan. It’s day numeo 15. Is that right, Kyle? Yeah, it’s the 11th of July and today I’m doing stage 11 which starts and finishes interloo plus a 50 mile transfer. So overall I’m doing about 57 miles I think. Kyle is joining me for the whole stage minus the transfer because it starts and finishes in the same place. So why the hell not? It is 4:42 in the A.M. and we’re aiming to leave for 5:00 a.m. cuz it’s going to be really hot today. So, we want to try and beat some of the heat. But yeah, let’s go. Right, it’s already 17°. We can hear parties going on. It’s a Thursday night. Anyway, it’s a 3k roll down to the start. So, I’m going to ride there. Kyle’s going to drive there. Park the car at the start. So, Kyle, I’ll see you in about 10 minutes. Drive safely. Got my lights on. Ready to roll. So, I’m at the official start point, which is just outside. You can’t really see it. There’s a big football stadium there. The stage is 173.1 km long and it has 5,879 ft of climbing. There is Kyle in the car. I think he’s trying to find somewhere to park. I don’t think he knows where he’s going. He’s up there. Oh, maybe he’s found a car park. So, I’m going to go and find Kyle and then we can allay. I think Kyle might be having some parking issues. He’s up there. He’s going around again. Kyle. He’s literally driven up and down the road and over that bridge about three times. So, I’m guessing the parking situation is not the best. I’m just looking where he’s going. He’s going that way now. Don’t think he knows I’m actually here. He knows I’m at the start, but I don’t think he realizes the start is here. He’s going back around the roundabout again now. What’s he doing? Getting bitten by Nats here as well. Maybe we can find somewhere. Okay, so because of the lack of parking, they’ve literally blocked all the car parks off. I’ve started the stage on my own and Kyle’s going to find somewhere to park. Call me when he starts somewhere and then I’ll find him. So, off I go. Alley, Ali, Al. Hey, he’s found a car park. That was a nightmare. Sorry. Don’t worry. I don’t think people mind cuz there’s a party going on down there. Yeah. Go and get a ticket. A ble. No, it’s a receipt, isn’t it? Ble. I think that’s I don’t know. I’m going to stop giving up on French. I think I think I should just stick to the English from now on. We’re having car park issues. Don’t think I’m going to get on this route. The car parking things in France have been an absolute nightmare from day one. Right. Duration. No, we want more than 3 hours, didn’t we? Yeah, I know. Right. Max 2 hours 30, but that’s not right cuz it gives me till 6 hours. You say more than maybe. I think that’s the max you can do. Right. Okay. Do that then. No. Last time I did £25 for it. Won’t let me. £28? Are you joking? €30? Got no choice. Where is all the car parks are shut? Everywhere. Jeez. All the car parks are shut. It’s a joke. They’ve blocked every car park off, right? Oh, okay. Right. Now try your card then. Is that card? Be quick cuz otherwise it being quick. Maybe it’s I wouldn’t. Yeah, I think it’s broke. Right, you’ll find somewhere else then. This is a joke. I’m never going to get on this ride. Right, Kyle’s now gone to another car park and I’m just going to wait here for him. I’m just watching the leaf blowers for getting the city ready for the day. Um, yeah, I’m a bit not annoyed. It’s not Kyle’s fault because obviously can’t control where the car parks are, but I kind of wanted to be like half an hour up the road by now because I wanted to have a really early start to avoid the heat. It’s going to be really hot today. So, time is a ticking, but it’ll hopefully be here in a minute and then I can get going. That’s what it’s looking like. 170k to go plus a transfer. Hey, they like the sweepers around here. Three of them have got air blowers and one of them’s got a sweepy. Basically just blowing the leaves around to be honest. I don’t know where they’re sweeping them into. Sweeping them all around the road by the looks of it. And we are off. Woohoo. Look, yellow. That’s the toilet lock above our heads. Weird. It’s nice. We’re out of the city. It was a bit of a nightmare to navigate through, but we’re all good now. The sun is slowly coming up. Going to be feeling the heat later. And it’s really nice to have my ride partner with me, Kylie. It’s nice to have some company today, but I’m making sure I’m staying on the front or to the side. Don’t want to have any traffic help. I want to make sure I do it on my own. The show is starting now. Hey That’s the biggest pile of hay I’ve ever seen. Kyle, it’s beautiful. Look at the sun. Here comes the sun. Dooby dooby. I’ve just heard the morning rooster. Every single day this whole trip, I’ve heard a rooster every single morning. Today it’s 6:39, so it’s an early one. Yesterday was the latest one yet at 12:03. But I’m always listening out for them. A rooster in Yorktown. DF Rooster impression. Jeez, it’s like riding with a toddler here. He’s already been for one week. We’re 20 mi in. He wants another one. Another one. You must be joking. I know. Right. We’ll find another place to stop then. At least I’m getting some time off the saddle. Frontton. So, I’m 52 miles down, about 48 miles into the route cuz I did a bit of riding this morning to get to the start. And so far, very disappointed about the lack of tour to France decoration. Kyle’s upset. We’ve got another French man on behind with us as well. A random said Bonjour. Yeah, maybe they don’t like the tour to France up here, but it’s literally been nothing. Not one thing apart from that yellow stuff hanging from the sky when we started but I don’t even know if that was from for to France. So yeah bit upset about that. So we’ve got this miles 10 miles to the buler stop. That French man rode with us for a bit and then he said bonjou olavvoir. So we set it back. He was really nice. He took the wheel for a bit back wheel and we let him have it. Anyway, we’ve got some crops growing here, but still no to France decor. Really upset. I’ve got a feeling they don’t really like us cyclist as much around here. Yeah, I don’t think they like us as much. No decorating. They seem a bit angrier actually. Yeah, in the mountains. Surely they will be. Oh, yeah. They love it up there. They’re facing the sun. Kyle’s ahead. Whenever Kyle’s ahead, I always stay back so I’m not getting a draft. Got this thing that I just want to do it completely on my own. So, no help with a draft because if someone rides in front of you, then you’re getting like a bit of help because there’s less wind on you. I know it’s silly, but I just want to do it myself. So, I’m sticking with that for now. See if it lasts till the end. Just going up a little burner, but it’s not too bad. Snakes up there and then we’ll be at the bakery because normally Kyle would meet me in the car. Obviously, he’s here today. So, bakery on route style and we’re not complaining about it. We’ve arrived at the bakery. Oh, yeah. That’s awesome, isn’t it? pizza more the fancy. Um, look at the camera and decide. Oh, Kyle goodness. Right, we’ve been in the blue longer. We’ve got a little feast. We’ve done 60 mi. We’ve only got like 47 miles, 49 miles of the route left. And I’ve gone for something a bit different today. A tart. A tart. I’m not a tart though. Kyle. And then we both chose the same bisqueta. Only you can make your mind. I mean each basically jammy do little eyes. Little eyes. And Kyle’s got chicken in Kle. Chicken kebab. Chicken kebab. No, it’s just it’s just the way it’s made. And the cafe. And then these which she nearly didn’t pay for cuz she charged us and then as we’re going out the shop. Oh no no no. She going to charge us for that. Song gluten no fat. Oh full of sugar. Anyway, let’s eat and let’s dash. I was just checking the weather for tomorrow. It looks like it might be thunderstorms. No 5% 0% till 5 4. I’ve got a mountain stage tomorrow. So I’m a bit stressed about that. But I’m trying not to think about that now. I’ve got the horse cam tomorrow. See heavy rain can’t more like 6 at night. Right. Hor can’t rain on me. Electrolyte going in. Buzz me up. It’s only 9:30. Kyle, how’s your pulley? Beautiful. Um, not really sure about that. I think you got the may Oh. Oh, gee whiz. There goes the cheese bowl. Missy. Right then. Wipe that down. Yeah, it’s time to ali. We’ve got the punchy climbs coming now. But the maximum climb is only 400 and something feet. So, it’s not that bad compared to what I’ve got tomorrow. This is a pip in the ocean. So, 100 miles to go. 49 miles with you, Kyle. Then 51 on my own. So, it’s not too bad. But the heat’s going to start now. And the heat always gets me. Not very good in the heat. You want to eat quick? Don’t worry. Don’t rush. It’s all right. It’s only half an hour. We’re just sneaking up a little burner. Sun’s out, guns out. Kyle’s being very nice and staying with me, even though I’ve said he can go, but said you can go to the top if you want cuz I’m going snail pace to win the race. That’s my new motto. Huh? Keep reminding you, no one’s done what you’ve done. Yeah. Keep going. Do your own thing. Just going to keep pedling. I feel like I’m going really slow, but I’m just remind myself going slow. I’m just remind myself it doesn’t matter what time I finish each day. As long as I keep going. Early behind you for climbing, it won’t easy. Okay. I’m always on a bit of a go after the bakery while I’m digesting as well. It’s 10:00 a.m. I think. Yeah, that was 10:00. There’s literally no tour to France decorations anywhere. The only thing I’ve seen is this telling you not to park here on the 16th of July when they’re here. That’s it. That’s as tall of France as you get around here. Normally I love riding on the stage cuz I’m like excited to see all the decorations, but there’s Diddly Squat. That’s Jeremy Clark’s farm in me. I think I’ve been thinking about that program and I’ve been seeing all the farmers. Oh well, hopefully tomorrow’s stage there will be some. It’s a miracle. There’s some bikes. The first tour to France deck we’ve seen. At least one villager likes the tour to France. Just came up a bit of a burner. We’ve got six more leg burners to go and then it’s stage fito. Mont run meal worm. Kyle meal worm. Yeah, bit of a burner. That was a burner. We’ve got six more of them to come. Some of them are a bit worse. So, knuckle in. Lau. They don’t need a sign for the tour. The street names called it. We’re just burning on up. Another burner. Bit of red. Same story, different climb. Four more climbs left after this one, though. So, the end is in sight. Two more burners to go. Yeah. What’s your prediction of who’s going to win this stage? Stage. This stage 11, isn’t it? Yeah. Stage 11. Yeah. 11. Yeah. Yeah. On the 16th of July, they’ll do it. It’s got to be like a punchy like rider. Yeah. Bandpool I’d say to this bandool. The back the back end of this is just up and down. It is. Yeah. Really punchy. Don’t know. Got a French circus going like that. Yeah. It’s either Vanderpool or Wenard. Somewhere like that. Well, we’ll find out on the 16th if your predictions are right. Kyle just can’t help himself. French cyclist went past so Kyle got on the back wheel. Don’t blame him to be fair. Got to let him have a bit of fun while I chug along like a snail. We’re on the second to last climb of the day. Bonour. It goes up over 400 ft. So, it’s just over 2k long, but we’ve only got 339 ft left. It’s already partway up. The pros will be racing up here, unlike me. I’m going at meal worm pace. Can meal worms even move? is a meal worm. What? I’m sure my granddad used to Oh, no, that was maggots. My granddad used to do fishing and he used to do maggots on his fishing line. I thought he I thought he had meal worms for a minute. Hey. Hey, it’s the top of the climb. It’s a nice little house with shutters. Just boarding up again. I feel like a baked potato. Last climb of the day. 341 ft. 1.2 26k long. So, a little steep once finishes off. Then we’re nearly at the end of the stage. Back into Tulu. Tulu, we’re coming for you. Jesus. That went up to 27%. The water flashed up. I could not film up there cuz all energy was on the climb. 27 27% Kyle. Woo! I was not expecting that. It’s not over yet. That was I wasn’t expecting that. Woohoo! From the outskirts of Tuloo now. Just coming to the top of the climb. Kyle’s there. That was a real burner to finish the steep bad boy. There he goes. He just shouted at me, “Keep going.” But I just wanted to do a quick video to show down there’s where we’re going now. Nice free wheel down to Tuloo. Yoooo. We’re now in the center of Tulu navigating. It’s not the easiest, but we’re on a nice bike path at least, so that’s nice. And we’re 2 miles from the end. Just going around the lap of this park thing. I’d rather be in the park on a sunbed right now, but oh well. I chose to do this, so I can’t complain. Ali, Ali, Ali. Right, we’re less than two miles from the end now, but Kyle is very hot, so we just ran into a shop to get a drink is in there somewhere in the bio something or other. That’s right. Kyle went in there holding the camera now. He said there was no drinks in there. Well, Kyle, I managed to find you a big bottle of water from the Pyrenees. It’s really nice. That’s one of those health shops that man peach for me. There’s no pears in it. No, that’s not the one. This for me, which is ginger and pineapple and banana smoothie. And then this for you, a chocolate oat smoothie. Ice chocolate. Ice chocolate milkshake, not smoothie. And then we got a photo by the to France thing. Get that Jamie. You said there was no drinks in there. I’m delirious. I think you are. Now you know how I feel riding in the heat. Yeah, but you got got me to stop and top you out. You get past me. When you’re riding on your own, I can stop come to you and stop and give you top you up. Oh, right. Yeah. Yeah, I’m not wearing one on you. Oh, no. Try it with that. What’s it like? Hand shaking. Oh, yeah. That’s nice. You can. No. No. I don’t want the rest of it too. They weren’t joking and said ginger. Literally, that’s like It’s the strongest tasting ginger I’ve ever had in my life. free from sparkly water. That’s brilliant. Is that nice? Don’t even use that spark. That’s so bit. You know what? I’ll have a bit. This ginger is very strong. Oh, ginger is good for inflammation anyway. It’s probably good good for me. Oh, really tingles. It gets you at the back of your throat. Anyway, Carl, I really like these shops. The bio bio. I went all over. We need to if we see another one of these shops, we go. They’ve got so much good stuff in there. They’ve got nuts. They’ve got dried fruit. They got real fruit. They got loads of like organic normal veg. It’s great. It’s my heaven in there. Anyway, do you want a photo by tours? And we’re nearly there. This is about as tall to France as we get on this route. Yeah. Depart stadium arrive. What’s Compan’s Cafe early? Soon find out. We’re there in a minute. Garden. Garden. All right. Let’s go and have a look there. This is the finish point. Well, it’s not very dramatic, is it? Just a load of traffic lights to be honest and a load of traffic. Going through to Lou at this hour is not fun, let me tell you. But yeah, nice to finish the fin. Well, that’s stage 11 ding-dang done with anyway. Not much of a turn around. Oh, let’s go back to the car. Right. Okay. Right. We’re back at the whip. I’ve just rebottled. I’ve refueled and I’m about to put some fly spray on and then I’ve got 51 well probably like 52 mi now cuz I’ve come the opposite way to get to the car. 52 mi to go. But Kyle’s going to meet me 25 mi from the end for another top up of water. So that’ll be nice. But it is really hot now. Fly spray. Don’t worry if you can’t find it. I’ll just get bitten more. Got a lot of bites today. Don’t worry K, if you can’t find it, I’ll put some on tonight. It’s so odd. Right, I’ve now got to navigate myself out of Tulu, which I’m not looking forward to cuz it’s very busy. So, I’ll see you when I’m out of here. Having deja vu now. I’m going back through these yellow things that we went through this morning. It’s a lot different now. It’s a lot more busy and a lot more hot. I’ll come back when I’m out of here cuz it’s a bit complicated. Right, I’m out of the city. I’m just on the outskirts. I’m going past some sort of arrow thingy. Some old airplanes and stuff. It’s so hot. I’m just keeping going, keeping drinking. Not far to go today now. Oh, I’d love it if that water spray just turned around and sprayed on me. It’s so hot. I forgot to say where I’m going now. I’m going to Ouch. or ouch. I don’t know how you say it. It’s a U c h. Spray on me. Spray me. And it’s where the start of stage 12 is. So, I’ll be doing stage 12 tomorrow, which is a mountain stage, but I’m not thinking about that yet. One day at a time, just thinking of getting to the end of the day first. It’s very hot. I think it’s about 34°. Feels hotter. The heat’s radiating off the concrete and onto my skin, but it’s okay. Could be worse. It’s not too windy, and I’m feeling quite good after yesterday’s rest day. So, it’s keeping on going. Pedal by pedal, we’ll get to Paris. Less than 25 mil to go. Current status hot. You know when you’re boiling something on the hob and you take the lid off the pan and all the steam comes out. The steam is basically me. That’s how hot I am right now. But Kyle will be with me in about 5 miles. So I might just sit in the car for a few minutes, have some air con, not moving anywhere obviously, and then keep going again. The end is in sight. I’ve got 27 miles to come. I’m just having a quick 5 minutes in the air con. But it is heaven. I’ve got some blueberries. Just feeling very hot. Time is emptying out some water. Electrolytes. So hot, Kyle. Oh no. Yeah. Can have electrolytes in both. Thanks. I put them in See what I do? I’ll put them in the fridge for you. Thank you. Before you go. I’m just so hot. warm. Is it going to be as this hot tomorrow? No. Oh, thank god. Drop it down about 3 or 4° tomorrow. I feel like a cycling fireball like in pit bull, but not a good fireball. Fireball. Oh, take some dates for me. Yeah, I don’t got long left anyway. Oh, but what else do you want to eat? All of the hills. All of the hills. All of the Don’t worry, it’s cuz it does. All of the hills. I’ve not done any yet. Do you want dates to take me or do you want some now? I’ll have a few dates now. Let me sort your water out and then you can tell me what snack you want. It’s nice being waited on hand and foot. You want an apple? I’ll have an apple when I finish as a reward. A nice crunchy. If I have an apple now, I’ll be burping all the way back. Right. This is not advisable to try at home. But this is basically date syrup. Feeling a bit low on energy. I need some sugar straight to my system. So, we’re going to use this to make some flap jacks. But for now, how do you open it? Is it the other side? No, it’s this side. Hang on. There’s a thing on it. Don’t choke it. For now, it’s going to go straight into my gullet. Don’t get on the seat. I’ve never done this. Don’t get on the seat. I’m telling you. I can’t do it. You can. Very sweet. That is going to sugar. It’ll go straight straight to you. Straight sugar. Like a gel basically. Only a tiny bit like a gel. Organic. 100% dates. Hope it doesn’t go straight through me. Anyway. Yeah. Sun cream on. Crank on that sugar. I’ve done something nice for you. Don’t go down the stomach and create some goodness. Snack behind it. Yeah, I’ve done something for you that I think you might like. Can you pass me the car keys, please, before you shut the door? That’s proof. I believe your door’s open. Yeah, I know, but I don’t want to risk it. Sanctuary in there. My sanctuary. You’re living life luxury in there, Kyle. I have ridden 109 miles with you today. Yeah, it’s not like I’ve been sitting there 109. I’ve done 2,000 and blooming 409. Hey, you’re getting the life. I’m keeping you fueled here. I’m doing it for a good reason. I keep reminding myself of that. I think I’m insane minute now. I think I’m certifiably insane after this. I’ve been bitten by a fly as well. What I’ll be done. Oh, jersey in the fridge. Yes. It’s going to be nice and cold now. Wipe this on now. Okay. Oh, blow me. All right then. Oh, I’ve got bitten by a fly and it’s really itchy. Can’t itchy. Got cream in there. You put it on. Oh, that’s nice. I got it out for you. What do you mean? Yes. Well, I just feel like I’ll put the fly on when I get back cuz the itching has kind of like distracted me from the heat. I’m just looking at them in the water. I wish I could go in there. People on the lake jet ski and get me in. Stop moaning. Whack me on one of those jet skis and push me in. The longer you moaning, the longer you If I was in one of those jet skis right now, I’d fall in on purpose. I’ve got hairy armpits. Sorry. I’d probably push you in on purpose. I need to shave. Does that feel a bit cooler? Yeah, I need to shave me armpits tonight. Nice. They’re not really hairy. There’s a bit of stubble coming through to be expected. Right, time to zip up and stop being silly and crank on with it. Come on, Amy. Hold. Yes, I know. What do you want? Yeah, feel that. Oh, yeah. To be fair, the feel cool down, right? 27 miles is less than a blooming club ride. What it feels like feels like it’s 100 miles, but doing 27. There’s only so much I can call them. What is We need to charge my tracker up tonight. Let’s go. It’s all right. I just drank loads. I’m going to wet myself. Oh, yeah. Sun cream and go. Right. Oh, I wish I could jump in there right now. That looks like heaven. Just saw a little deer, but I didn’t catch it on the camera. It was so cute. In the words of Alicia Keys, this girl is on fire. Feels like I’m cycling in a sauna, but I’m keeping on going. I’ve only got 10 miles to go. Nothing really. 16 km, a little pipsqueak, a little meal worm. I know Kyle will be there when I get there waiting, so that’s nice. Thank you so much to everyone that’s donating, everyone that’s messaging. It’s really helping me to keep going. The last whatever miles it’s been since I’ve seen Kyle, I’ve just been counting them down to be honest. I’m ready to finish today. Just feeling really hot. But no thoughts whatsoever of giving up. There’s only one outcome of this getting to Paris. So, let’s keep on going. Hey. Hey. I’m in O. I don’t know how to say it, but it’s a U c. come here and I’m happy. Say that’s what um that’s a shout out to Hayden who is cycling every stage with uh for cure leukemia and they were singing that yesterday when they were here so it was in my head. Looks really nice. Looks like there’s a castle or something up there. I got to the end of my route back there and now I’m just trying to find where Kyle is cuz my route ends is where the stage starts. Sorry, I’m a bit doo lillly. Bit hot. But look, lovely big castle up there. Shadow, right, about 4 minutes away from Kyle according to Google Maps. So, get me there. Right then. Well, that’s my ride. Ding-dang dudly. I’m almost ding dang dead after that heat. Let me tell you, as soon as I got here, straight in the ice shower, straight into these bad boys that my friends left me. Anyway, the ride stats are in. I did 164.69 miles, which is 265 km. and I went up 2,00 no 8,235 ft which is 2,510 m. My bum was in the saddle for 10 hours 46 minutes and 51 seconds and my average speed was 15.3 mph. Overall, a very hot day. I think that stage is probably one of my least favorites of the whole time I’ve done. First of all, because the lack of to France decoration. Second of all, because Kyle was with me. Joking, Kyle. I love it cuz you’re with me. I think it was just a bit of a it’s a bit of a nightmare getting out of Tulu. Bit of a nightmare going back in. Obviously different for the pros. Yeah. Different for the pros cuz it’s closed roads and then it was just kind of flat and then punchy climbs. So yeah. Yeah. So I went from nothingness. Nothing like eat dead easy. Yeah. To then, oh my legs ain’t ready for this. That 27% bad boy. Anyway, I forgot to mention that to you. That was horrid. But overall, I’m feeling tired. Bit nervous about tomorrow, but I’m no way am I quitting. and I’ve had no thoughts of that. So, just that I’m just like I can’t believe how much we’ve raised and I can’t believe how much support everyone’s given. So, it really doesn’t feel real. So, thank you honestly for so much everyone. Um and yeah, 15 days down, 14 to go. So, we’re over halfway. Wa! We’re halfway there. Wa! Living on a No, actually, whoa. Living on my veil. Kyle, can I have a update from DS director Sported? What’s the plan for tomorrow, please? Right. Plan tomorrow. Consort the road book. DS will be back on board. I just ask you something as well. Is it nice to ride today? It was. Yeah. Good. Bit hectic afterwards. Yeah. You did a really good job getting here. Going straight from domestic to DS again. Yeah. And Sonia, obviously you got here. Was everything ready for you? Everything was ready. I had a milkshake, cherry juice, everything. So, thank you. That’s what we do. So, tomorrow we have We’re getting through the days now. Day 16. Day 16. Flipping. I’m flipping through the pages now to get to what it’s looking like. So, it’s looking a bit like that the stage. So, it’s not it’s not I know there’s a cat for lean up to the big clouds, but what are the mountains I’ve got? So, you’ve got the cat four is called Cop Lab Labat, right? Never heading into the Pyrenees. But then you’ve got a cat one, right? So, this is sort of the big climbing. What’s that called? called sil not to be confused with soy air and then you got a category two coldz beras probably not saying it right and then at the end of the day you’ve got the horse bad boy water cam how to camp horse camp however you say it that and people have said a lot about it so but you’re riding that up there with me this is the one I’m going to be riding with so the plan is tomorrow 64 miles in we decided that’s going to be good cuz after this morning you tick away your miles on your own. It’s pretty flat leading up to that anyway. Nothing you can’t do. Done far worse. Then the second stop will be stop you refuel. Mhm. I should be ready and then I’ll ride up to camp from where I park. How long’s my transfer after? And then you’ve only got a 21 mile transfer after. What’s the total mileage tomorrow? And your total mileage tomorrow is 146.18. That’s not too bad. And your transfer is only 1,000 ft, 1100 ft in 30 mi. How much how much feet is there in the stage though? We don’t need to look at that. 12,855 ft in 116 mi. But you on the No, on these mountain days, it always looks worse. I say it’s not that bad, but then tomorrow I’m going to be No, it does. It always looks worse because the horse time climb on its own going to be a lot of elevation. Yeah. So, right. Well, thanks for that, DS. And, um, we’ll be up bright and early in the morning. 4:00 a.m. get up again. You’ve got quite an easy day as well after that. Great. Cuz the thing is, I’ve decided that it’s just easier for me to get up early. I’m much better in the morning and not in the heat. So, we’re going to get up early again tomorrow. I look like a hot radish right now. So, this is what you look like after a day in the heat. Basically, tomato vibes. Anyway, you got anything to add or are we ready to go and make my dinner? That’s just how I’ve been hectic since I’ve got here. So now I’ve got to make you dinner. I’m going to have a coffee first. Yeah. And dinner. Then I need to actually do a bit of R and R on myself and have a shower. Right then. Thanks Kyle. Love you. And uh YouTube tomorrow morning. Yeah, I’m doing really well. Right. Well, thank you so much for watching everybody. TTFN. Tata for now. Goodbye. Goodbye.

  1. So sorry that you suffer from the heat🥵
You do eventually get use to it🤔😁
You just have to ignore it and keep spinning😊🚴 and Kyle keep fuelling 👍

  2. Each revolution of those wheels, nearer Paris.
Reminder Amy, if you get wrapped up in the mountainous "Bar Steward" heatwave Stage from Hell, at the finish make sure you're drinking electrolytes with the buckets of water. Gallons of just plain H20, not wise if already low on electros
    We move ! Arriba Arriba
    🔥🐿

  3. KYLE! I miss the jokes. Here is one from a Norwegian.
I damaged the wheel's hub on my bike
So I went to a repair shop, but the very eloquent technician couldn't help me with it.
Turns out he was only a spokesperson.

  4. Inspired by your adventure I decided to go for a decent ride of my own today. Quite pleased with myself managing 80km (50millones) in just under 4 hours. 1140m of climbing. Then I watched your video and saw you do three times what I did. I have some work to do, lol.
Another great video. Just realised now that maybe my problem is that I don’t have a “Kyle”!

  5. Amy your commitment is incredible. Your strength of character and how you work through your daily challenge by taking it a step at a time is all inspiring.

  6. Well for a girl who doesn’t like the heat, you turned in a pretty good ride and you rode right through the Airbus headquarters and primary assembly building to boot say nothing about the 27% gradient hill, so job well done and Kyle too!

  7. Keep going Amy 💪🚴‍♀️💨💨💨❤ Kyle needs a gold medal 🥇 wow! How lucky are you to have an amazing husband. Watch out a Pro Team might steal him!!!! 😂😂😂😂

  8. I quote: " I am annoyed. It's not Kyle's fault". I'm glad you mentioned that, spoiled princess. Remember – and at last give him credit. Without him you are completely lost. And not riding a further day. Give credit where credit is due. PS: Thanks Kyle. Brilliant job. You are a real hero.

  9. Incredible effort, I never doubted your commitment, but to still be physically and mentally coping, superwoman. And super partner. Doing the little I can, another donation 😊

  10. Mealworm information…

Mealworms can be eaten fried, roasted, live, plain, salted, or dipped in chocolate or sauce.

Yummy apparently be great as cycling snacks 😂….

  11. I am ammazed at how tough you are and how many miles per day you are riding. I go out for a 30 mile ride and I am tired for the remainder of the day. You are one tough young lady. Keep up your progress and you will be in Paris before you know it.

  12. Amy usually in French an e after an s means you have to pronounce it. So you were riding around Toulouzzz, not Toulou 😁. Also that's where Airbus HQ is, hence their military transport aircraft you rode past. Keep going you human fireball you! 💥
