Anyone ever hear of ANKER RAD bikes from Switzerland? I’ve never seen this kind of tubing before. Very interesting bike at the local co-op and was very tempting…

Anker is located in Bielefeld an mostly known for cash registers. But Gilco! Doesn’t matter who made it.

Indeed a very interesting top tube, did you take more photos, especially of the stickers and from the head tube emblem?

All the frustrations of internal cable routing with none of the benefits!

Dear God that is cool! I love Swiss bikes. I’ve heard of Anker Rad…never seen one. I have a 1970s Mondia road bike with, 531 Reynolds tubing and Campagnolo hardware, another Swiss bike. But it’s often hard to sell obscure foreign bikes in the US, because nobody wanted one when they were younger, because they’ve simply never heard of it.

Old Sunday bmx frames, like the sound wave have that type of tubing, supposed to be stronger
