Remote is on top of the alarm. Was available via crowdfunding but the discount was slight and wanted to see reviews of it first. Available to purchase now from the Eesens website. Prior to this i’d been using those cheap alarms off Amazon and eBay. Those were never great as the backs of them are flat but most surfaces on a bike are rounded which would make it easy to tear the alarm off the bike. Knog released the Scout but the alarm is only 85db. Eesens Guardian Alarm System has a 110db alarm. Can be mounted via the bottle cages, saddle rails or anywhere on the frame using zip ties. Uses security bolts for the bottle cage mounts and has an attachment for mounting a bottle cage above the alarm. One remote can pair with three alarms if you have multiple bikes or multiple alarms on the same bike. Customisable sensitivity and alarm tone. If you’re within 1600 feet of the bike when the alarm goes off then the remote emits an alarm too and a flashing light so at work, shopping or home with the bike in the garage in the shed or garage you don’t have to worry about not hearing the alarm. Been waiting the last decade for someone to make one of those Amazon or eBay cheap alarms mountable via bottle cages and seems Eesens have not only done that but in a really high quality and feature packed design.

I prefer the KNOG scout. It’s super slim and lives under my bottle cage. I can control it with my phone and I can see it in FindMy
