Guys this is my second grail but still haven’t figured out that problem(probably not an issue but i am frustrating)
Normally the top cap screw is to pull up the fork & push down the headset to make them tighten in place, isn’t it ? But for the new grail
It has a screw on the lowest spacer as photo, that one should be for holding the fork in place, so i should tighten it first Before tightening the top cap & any other screws ?
Then the top cap won’t be able to pull up the fork, which is like just simply connecting? Is that true ?
It also means that I have to hold/push up the fork when tightening the lowest spacer screw, right ?
I just afraid of potential damage to it if improperly assembled😂🙏🏻thanks guys

Top cap first, than clamp bolts on stem then this bottom spacer. The bottom one doesn’t need to be secured, it only saves the preload when you have to dismount the cockpit for transportation.
