We must be mad… It’s Saturday, so obviously we decided to ride from Paignton (Devon) all the way to Liskeard (Cornwall) for burgers 🍔

Why? Because why not.

There was mine and two other 125cc bikes, and two big-boy MT-09s in the squad, and we hopped on the Torpoint Ferry to get into Cornwall, and wow, Cornwall roads are SO much nicer. Not a pothole in sight compared to the craterfield that is Devon 😅

The Chequered Flag Biker Café was absolutely spot on. Top-tier food, good vibes, and a great laugh all around.

We’re going to go check out the checkered flag cafe in Lisgard. We’re going to go v Tess there over the top ferry and then we’re going to come back via the bridge. [Music] It is a beautiful day for this. Looking forward to it. We have a rally point at the Morrison’s petrol station in Totteness. So if we do get split up between here and there, it’s all good. Should take us probably about an hour and a half to get there cuz we’re going to go the back roads there. Spends an hour or so at the cafe list and then head back again. A beautiful day. How are we doing? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Not bad. [Laughter] That is just so nice. We have some nice bikes in this one. Oh, what? Really? Uhhuh. Right. That game. Okay. Nice. And here we are, the MLY crew today. Seven of us heading to Cornwall. Because why not? It’s a lovely day. That MT is so lovely. That’s a lovely color. One of them’s a bit worried he won’t get back to work in time, so he’s heading back. So, we’ve now got three 125s and two big bikes. Oh, this is such a lovely road. This is much better than the A38 that’s just over there somewhere. When you think of Brixton, you think of London. But did you know there is a Brixton in Devon? And here we are. Now, personally, I think the Brixton here looks slightly prettier than the Brixton in London. Wouldn’t you agree? Go. Bet that’s worth a few Jaffa cakes. This place is gurus. Garous. Garous, I tell you. Hello. I live in Brixton and this is rather gorgus here. I need some more caffeine. So, it’s slightly boring for you cuz you can’t see all the bikes that are behind me. [Music] So, we’re now in a place that has an absolutely awful tradition. I’m dreadful and utterly utterly utterly wrong. Warning, some viewers may find the following footage deeply disturbing. So, we are heading to the Checkered Flag Cafe, which is just outside Lisgard. Going to stop there, have something to eat, have something to drink, and then decide if we want to go into Lisgard and have a mooch around or head back into Devon. The day is just stunningly beautiful. It’s gorgeous today. Absolutely gorgeous. Oh, what a pretty place. I can’t remember who it was on the group that said to come this way. Nailed it. I tell you, there is nothing like it. I got my riding tunes blaring in my ears and I’m just so living and loving life right now. Why did I wait so long to get a motorbike? This ride here has been so beautiful. I’ve only gone into Cornwall twice. Going to be doing it again. This is lovely. The perfect way to spend a day off.
