After trying almost every single bikepacking configuration I’ve honed it down to this for sub-100mile day trips.
This ride in particular was punishing. Brutal headwinds for the first 4 hours followed by mile after mile of soul destroying uphill sand. But the final 10 miles of endless tailwind-boosted descent to the blue water was heaven.
