he watched his parents’ boat flip over unable to help them as they drowned You see he had been on a camping trip deep in the woods when they decided to fish on their boat But the boy didn’t want to go and ended up witnessing his parents’ death Panicked and alone he tried to walk to the nearest town but the sun went down fast and the cold set in even sooner He curled up on the ground shivering as he fell asleep there was a good chance he wouldn’t make it through the night That’s when three wild beavers found the boy and pressed their warm bodies against his to keep him from freezing He woke up to them snuggled around his body In the middle of heartbreak and cold those little creatures gave him the warmth he needed to survive
