I'm trying to change the rear wheel, but my other rear wheel doesn't have a cassette, so I have to transfer this one. This looks different from anything YouTube tutorial I could find.. when I turn the nut, the other side (pic2) turns in the same rotation. I've tried using a spanner on one side and large pliers on the other side, turning in opposite directions but they won't turn..

You need the correct lock ring removal tool for your cassette and a pair of chain whips. Or just take it to your bike shop.

(What you are doing is loosening the axel and bearings so you might have to fix that.)

EDit: Sorry it’s a freewheel. Follow u/r3photo but you still might have loosened your axel.
