Today I assembled my new Grizl AL 7, but I noticed that the front wheel brake rotor is rubbing alternately on both brake pads. Could it be that the rotor is bent? I tried adjusting the brake by loosening the two bolts, squeezing the brake lever, and then tightening the bolts again, but I couldn’t get it any better.

Yes def looks bent. It’s easily repairable though. You can either try truing it yourself or contact Canyon to let them know about the issue and propose to take your bike to your LBS take care of it. Canyon will issue you a reimbursement to cover the expenses.

This is quite normal and easily fixable. Simply bend it back. Buy Bike Rotor Truing Fork from.amazon for like $10.
