Did Vancouver BC – Victoria Island – San Francisco a few years ago. Plenty of good scenery but much of the route on busy roads. Old farts driving huge RV campers won’t give you an inch. Logging trucks driving fast. Truly frightening. For me never again.

Well there are a thousand ways to do it. What kind of bike will you be on? Camping? Trip goals? Anything specific you want to see or do? Why do you want to include Bend, OR?

There’s so much more than ‘here’s a route’.

I’ve done Oregon to Big Sur. It’s all gorgeous and chill *except* for the stretch in Humboldt/Mendo btw Legget and the southern tip of the Lost Coast

  4. I see that you are going all the way to Sunnyvale.

For the peninsular section make sure to take a look at the routes shown on [sf2g.com](http://sf2g.com) (San Francisco To Google). For a couple miles more you could greatly boost your scenery.

I rode from Eugene to Eureka along the coast in 2015. Riding through the redwoods was one of the most spiritual and indescribable feelings I’ve ever experienced. Like others said the RV’s can be a little intimidating sometimes but it’s an amazing experience
