This is on high end cranks that have a preload ring on the non drive side.

Would really help to get the part number (should be on the inside of the crank arm, near the pedal threads; something like FC-####). Looks like Octolink V1 splines, but I’ve never seen an Octolink interface on a two-piece crank before.

I guess Shimano still considers this a Hollowtech II crankset because of the integral 24mm spindle, however the mounting is a little different. [The manual](https://si.shimano.com/en/dm/MAFC002/Crank) shows how the system bolts together and preload is adjusted.

So apparently this is XTR/Dura Ace mounting system.
Afaik Shimano only makes HT2 spindles. So 24mm.
