  1. Watch videos on youtube showing how to adjust your rear derailleur.

FYI, your cassette is the collection of sprockets. You have 1 cassette with 11 sprockets.

The derailleur has something called “limit screws”. They’re very small screws that, as their name states, limits how far the derailleur can go.

If I had to bet, my money would be on this being a case where the limit screws are limiting the action too much.

[This is by far the best instruction video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkZxPIZ1ngY) I’ve seen on the subject. The channel is a goldmine of bike maintenance and fixing info with other subjects, too. Different derailleurs can have the screws in different places, but they do the same job.

There’s likely a problem with your limit screws and your derailleur tension is probably wrong as well. Change that cable while you’re at it!

You can look up rear derailleur adjustment on YouTube or look up the technical documents for setting up your specific model of derailleur.

This is all dependent on you having 11-speed shifters and 11-speed capable derailleur. How did you get this bike?

As one other post mentioned, may want to check the cable, that bend from the frame looks really tight, at least from the picture you provided.

  5. Limit screws and cable tension. If you’re handy, it’s not difficult to fix, but it does require some precision on 11 speed drivetrains.

As everyone else already said: limit screws and cable tension.

Also: your cable is fraying and needs replacing.
