Not sure what Cannondale model this is because it had no markings. I should've looked for a serial num. This bike was clean, it looked like no one has ever ridden it. Has all Shimano 600. This includes the rear derailleur, crank, front/back brakes, and even the clipless pedals. Frame looks clean. This one was made in Pennsylvania.
It's from the shop owner's private collection of some 20+ vintage bikes with this being the cheapest one. The owner passed away a year ago so it's all on sale now. I assume this bike has just been sitting in that collection for at least a decade or two. Guy said $600 non-negotiable with 20% going to charity and the rest to the widow. He also said he'd clean it up and make sure it's still rideable before giving it.
On a side note, is it morally wrong to lowball something knowing it's for charity??

No shot. Old ass dried up bar tape, old ass dry rotted tires, drivetrain that needs a cleaning etc.
Worth $200ish in my market.
Buy something more modern or better kept.
Maybe 150-250 max. Not worth more than that.
Not with 600. Wouldn’t pay more than 150.
Also no, you can donate 20% to a charity of your own choosing. Over charging because “20% goes to charity” is absurd. Not to be a skeptic but how do you know they’ll actually give it to charity? Seems they’re trying to take advantage of you but wrapping in a pretty bow.
