    Looks ok, but hard to tell from the angles. Did you use heat to make the tape easier to work with and smooth it into the rim with a rounded tool?

    Saw this method on YouTube and applied it successfully.

  2. Be careful about the sealant you use with that tape as the ones with carbon fibres and blocking additive will destroy the tape

  3. The only mistake you’ve made is choosing to use the mucoff tape. Don’t worry, you will read this comment and you will forget about it. But ~one year from now, or whenever you’re gonna need to replace that tape, you will remember. Because removing that glue they use on that piece of crap tape will be the hardest thing you’ll ever have done.

    Looks fine but mucoff tape + sealant is widely regarded as being bottom of the pile

    Stans / Orange / Silca all better products – based on lived experience as well as hearsay

    How did you get it so flat? I struggle with that a bit. It might be the cheap tape I’ve used
