I have a 2020 Marin Nicasio 2. It’s a steel frame instead of aluminum. I’ve been very happy with it. Called customer service once and they were friendly and helpful. I broke my derailleur hanger this winter and it had to be ordered directly from Marin. No one stocked it. That being said it only took a week to get it.

I recently upgraded gravel bikes and I’m converting my Marin to an endurance road setup. No complaints at all.

  2. I just, literally yesterday, got the Headlands 1 from them. Carbon frame 1x GRX.

I definitely don’t have enough time on the bike yet but a quick shakedown ride felt pretty good. Will update is something explodes haha but so far a fan.

I owned a Gestalt 1 (2024) briefly. The bottom bracket was too weak and as a result the chainrings moved so much to the left and right while pedaling that the chain touched the derailleur during every pedal stroke. It rendered about half the gears useless. Since the bike store wasn’t able to fix the problems in 3 attempts, I returned the bike to the store.
