I Posted a few months ago asking for advice regarding a possible rebuild I was considering for my Grizl.

I thought I would post an update given that in the end I decided to go all out with my rebuild and I’m loving the results.

I’ve not only upgraded the wheels set from the stock DT Swiss 1850 to DT Swiss GRC 1400 (50mm), but also made the move from 2by Shimano Mechanical to 1by SRAM AXS and swapped out the bar and stem to a one piece carbon cockpit.

The new setup absolutely rips compared to my old one and so far I’ve had no issues with climbing moving to a smaller gear range (although that may be partly down to vastly increased fitness since first acquiring the bike).

Crosswinds can be a little more unnerving with the deeper rims but I’m learning to deal with them and using it as an opportunity to improve my bike handling skills.

Looks superb. The wheels look great.

Can I ask what cockpit you are running and how easy was it to set up?

What parts did you need in terms of spacers etc?
