I mean the last climb and then uh yeah uh Yonas followed me and uh then everything came together and uh yeah he did such an amazing job to lead me out until the very end even if people were attacking. So I’m super super happy and proud of the team today. Uh amazing. Uh yeah, I’m just without words was such a nice victory. Number 100 100 victory in your career and you do it on the to the box. What a symbol. Yeah. Uh to win at the tour is incredible in this jersey even more and uh to to have a 100 victory. It’s it’s amazing. Yeah. This is the the kind of cycling so exciting that you love going up, going down, pacey, exciting with a lot of rivals. This is just perfect. Yeah. Uh with so many uh good riders in the final, in such a final, you you’re always a bit on the edge, nervous what’s going to happen, and yeah. Uh you never know until the final like uh like today, you get this adrenaline and uh yeah, of it’s pure pure racing. And I I enjoy it. Yeah. You’re not in yellow yet, but the the legs seem to be amazing. Yeah, we will see tomorrow. Tomorrow is the the real test, but uh yeah, even to already to win a stage in this jersey for me, it’s uh it’s enough and uh I will just go and enjoying this race. As he said, Taddy Pagatra, to take this 100th win in the world champions jersey is something incredibly special indeed. Not just that, but he is of such a caliber that he’s able to calculate what jersey he will take his 100th victory in. Because let’s not forget that he was indeed in the King of the Mountains jersey until yesterday when his teammate Tim Wellins took that on his shoulders. to him very deliberately wanting to cross the line for us for this centinary victory in the world champions jersey. He’s at 26. Then we have Enrich Mass. Oscar only moving up to seven. The phenomenal ride from him. He’s within a minute of the lead. Then Xiao made it. Remco a is now at 58 seconds. So he does now have to start making up time which he may be able to start doing tomorrow on that allimp important time trial. Matias scaleosa then is at 102. Are we surprised Rob? I think we all assumed on cut bankank it would go to tally pagata. Well we thought it might but it depends on exactly how they do the countback and if it’s on points and all all these little details. I don’t think it’s going to bother Ted that he doesn’t take the yellow jersey. I think importantly for him, he’ll he’ll he’ll start behind Yonas Vinegard in the time trial. It it doesn’t matter to him that Machu is the last one to start and I think the most important thing is that he got the stage victory. I you just mentioned it before who can have all those details in the head. It’s one thing to say this is the tactic to win the stage, but this is the jersey I want to do it in and I’m going to set that up from the day before and but it it was incredible to watch how he constructed the victory with the attack on that final climb was I think one first and foremost go away on his own, get a gap, take time, win the stage which would have taken the jersey as well but if not and when he was covered everything came back together it had done so much damage to others legs. You saw what happened to Matu Vanderpool in the sprint. You have if you’re going to break Matu Vanderpool down, you don’t just do it in in one go. You have to keep just gnoring away and keep making him hurt time after time and then he becomes vulnerable. He still ran second, but for a guy like Teddy Pagashi to be able to beat him, that’s what it took. multiple efforts and really take him deep into the red zone.
