Have fun building!
Hello and welcome once more channel from JB Toys. This video is all about the brand new UCS set, the 75417, the ATST Walker famous from episode 6, Battle of Endor. And we finally get another rendition after I think two decades or one and a half decade. The 101 uh 74 uh containing one minifigure €200. It’s a August novelty. And many thanks for LEGO for sending us this copy early. If you ever watch a video from us, you might know that we now start with an unboxing followed by a speed build and then a detailed review of the set. You can already pre-order this one in our online shop. For all the European buyers, we do offers flat rate shipping option. And um if you’re buying the special item or the special bundle, you get a free speeder bike and a custom Evok minifigure with this set. Thanks for your support. Thanks for watching. And let’s directly jump into the unboxing. Have fun. [Music] Nice. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Why you [Music] Where is you? [Music] [Music] Hello. Hello. Hello. Y l [Music] o. [Music] Hey, [Music] boys. [Music] boys. [Music] Where is You go home. [Music] [Music] Hello. Hello. [Music] E L I [Music] O. [Music] Nice. [Music] Well, the build is done and you can see the 1,513 pieces right in front of me. And uh the very first uh opinion is just a fantastic model. I had so much fun to build this. Just a side story when I bought the 10174 a decade ago or two decades ago, I don’t know. I met the founder or the CEO of Lego Kristian and got a signage on the box. So, this is why I really love uh the AT-ST and uh it’s such an iconic uh walker in, for example, Battle of Endor. That’s uh what I built uh years ago uh with couple of 100,000 bricks. So, yeah, it’s just wonderful to get another AT-ST uh this time. The old one is very good model. So, um this one is from my point of view even better. So, um the part usage is fantastic and um many many many more uh details. Let’s focus on the stand first. It’s printed, of course. It’s the it’s not the glossy one, but it’s the one with a um with a point here. I don’t know why you Lego is using sometimes this one and sometimes the other one. Um it’s kind of a simple stand. Uh you would uh but you don’t miss anything. You don’t have a a stand for the walker because it’s standing itself. And if you buy from us, you can get the extension pack with a speeder bike and the custom printed Evok, which I highly recommend you to buy. Um, the minifigure is exclusively available in this set and new unfortunately no back print or no head print. Uh, another head print. We get a new helmet or fantastic detailed helmet and the side print of the arms and a new torso print and leg print. It’s an exclusive minifigure. Hopefully, it will stay exclusive because I love exclusive minifigures. As a minifigure collector, it’s always good to have new uh variation of any Lego Star Wars minifigure you can uh you can uh imagine. Uh focusing on the on the walker, uh it’s not poseable. So, you cannot walk uh with the legs. You can rotate the head and you can rotate another uh many other things but uh and you can open the head of course I will show you later on but you cannot do anything with the legs. It’s very very good um for standing in the shelf and I think uh not too many people will play with it uh with a set. So it’s it’s uh it’s okay to just um put it uh in the shelf and don’t uh move the legs. Um the only thing which I don’t oh which could be could have been done better is the backside of these bricks because we do have the inverted slopes the round slopes and the inverted tiles right now would have been so cool to get all these uh bricks which you can see from the underside uh covered with inverted slopes and inverted tiles all the rest of the model. I really really think it’s just perfect. so many details. So cool building techniques, the small um it’s not it’s not necessary, but you get this technique technique brick for example just for another detail. Uh or this one. I really love this piece. I think it’s 20 years old. I don’t know. We have five stickers. Two on the on the outside of the model and three in the in the cockpit. Um the building techniques are very cool. I love building uh the set. You have some uh kind of technical frame inside and then it’s all covered by bricks step by step. And um if you do remember the episode 8 set, the 75201, this is what you got with four minifigures in a smaller size of course, but missing the head. And the head of course is the highlight of the set. It’s uh done uh in a fantastic way. Very very cool building techniques. very easy to be honest. It’s just this brick here, the technique uh the technic brick or the technique uh I don’t know how to uh what’s the name of the brick. It’s uh movable and then you fix the angle with this technique axle right here and right there. And this is the only place where you can see uh let’s say wrong colors. All the rest of the blue pins etc is hidden by um gray bricks if you don’t look inside here. And uh this is the cockpit. Two stickers here and one more sticker on the in the cockpit itself. You can open it very easily. And of course it’s larger than minifigure scale. So you potentially if you still have a Jack Stone minifigure or a Technic uh minifigure, then you can put them in the seats here. Very cool. Very easy. And of course Chupaca is getting out of the ATSC if he wants to. Um yeah, what else can I say? The part usage is fantastic. You can move uh the different uh blaster etc. And uh the result of the set is just fantastic. So I love the new uh ATST UCS ATST. My final rating of the set is four or five JB stars. It’s a very good set and nearly five stars, I think. Um only missing a minifigure. I’m always complaining about missing minifigures, I know, but I’m a minifigure collector, so it would have been so cool to get one more minifigure um in the set, a special edition of Chewbacca or an Evok, even better, an Evo. But yeah, that’s it. Uh one last thing to mention about the building instruction. Like all the other UCS sets, you get very uh very cool information about the design process and the design team on the front and some cool pictures from episode 6. Um, and of course, if you never built a a Lego model and starting with this AT-ST, uh, now you know how to use the brick separator. 405 JB stars. It’s available for pre-order. Thank you so much for your support and, um, yeah, it’s a fantastic model. Get it, uh, and build it. Have fun building. See you next time. Bye. [Music]

Can’t wait to pick this up, awesome set, but it is 50 bucks overpriced
One of the best channels for uploading the first video reviews for new Lego Star Wars sets!
your quick build montages always give me massive classic YT vibe nostalgia. thanks for the review!
Only sets I’m picking up in the August wave are the V-19 Torrent and Jango’s Slave 1, those are definitely the least overpriced with some of the best minifigures in my opinion. Love your channel!
Why does the panel have a dot?
