Guys, how do I adjust break contact point on grail cf slx axs 8? Saw a video on yt but it seems like that screw on the top is for brake fluid (dot 5.1) lever is hitting the handlebar and wheel still can rotate.

I don’t think the old Force D2 has contact point adjustment, just Red. Probably needs bleeding.
get a bleed kit, watch the 7 or 8 year old GCN video on how to bleed sram breaks.
The screw on the top is the bleed port, yes.
THere is a 2.5mm screw on the downside which adjusts the lever reach but i really think you need some bleeding.
DIY is possible but takes some attempts to be efficient in doing it. I usually have to go twice because i always mess something up.
Or go to an LBS. This is not good to ride
Check the brake pads too. Excessive wear and could contribute to the lack of engagement.
You can only adjust the reach with the Force hoods
Recently had this issue and rebleeding it solved the problem.
