Hi all, I have a Stamp 1 pedal that has thrown the platform from the spindle. Is this repairable? I see the thread at the end of the spindle and figure it used to be longer as it no longer threads in to the platform. Thanks!
does the end of the spindle look like it’s been broken off?

Crankbrothers sells spindle kits. As long as the pedal itself isn’t broken, it’s fixable.

I suspect the bearing failed, when that happens the pedal body can slide off the axle, you can get a new bearing, or you can get a new pedal, this shouldn’t be possible on the gen 2 stamp 1, the igus bushing would basically have to disintegrate for that to happen

First i dont think you can repair this, i have seen this happen and usually part of the plastics breaks inside.
Secondly these pedals(stamp1 v1) are not that good and pretty cheap so I don’t think it would make much sense to repair them.
time to get something better, treat yourself. 🥳
if you like CrankBrothers then I would recommend Stamp7.

Can get the repair kit, but buy the newer version of them, never liked the feel…
