Restoring my father’s custom road bike, built for him and raced in the late 80’s. I’m looking for an era-specific seat to match. Any suggestions?

I inherited this bike about ten years ago and finally got around to restoring it. All parts are original except for the seat, post, cables, tape, etc.

I ended up putting this brooks saddle on because I couldn’t figure which direction to go with it. I love the bike and ride it frequently but feel the seat is a sour note.
