the funniest bike in my quiver!
bought it built like this by a local mechanic.
just a SLX groupset, new suspension internal, brakes, wheels, Thompson seatpost and carbon bar (which may be too wide for me).
i plan to do some bikepacking with it.

Awesome bike! I did some racing on this exact model from 1994-1998. Still my favorite bike of all time. The Delta V headshoks just look so much better than the more modern straight ones. Sadly, mine was stolen, but I managed to find a used one two years ago. For nostalgic reasons, I’m running it with the same setup I used back in the day. I’m sure the 1x drivetrain is great on that Delta V.
Make sure you take good care of that beauty and get yourself a stem cap for it.
