range to keep things simple and light while retaining a good range of gearing all in all it’s a premium choice for those seeking An Elegant balance of speed power and comfort Ora has been in the road ebik market for some time now and the game D50 is the latest generation of the Spanish Brand’s handiwork one of the cheaper bikes on our list it poses as a solid entry point into the world of Premium electric road bikes rather than opt for a stoning great bottom bracket mounted motor the gain D50 features a rear hub drive system following bearers enough poers philosophy the M x35 plus Hub motor in the game D50 delivers 40 new M of torque enough to smooth out climbs while keeping the ride light and responsive paired with a 350w internal battery it boasts a range of 100 km or 16 Mi with the option to upgrade with a range extender for even longer Adventures the aluminium frame matched with a full carbon for provides clearance for tires up to 40 mm and features endurance Focus geometry at £ 2,899 the game D50 is certainly far from cheap but it does provide some serious range and power for the price point when you compare it to the competition the pinell Nitro E7 is the latest generation e- road bike and it’s been updated around the TQ hp50 motor system it’s one of the sleer bikes on our list too the oversized down tube hints at its ebike po but to an untray eye it’s just another high-end Road machine the frame set shares many of the same marketing buzzwords as the Brand’s Dogma F race bike with an asymmetric frame an under fork with third tier t900 carbon fiber construction the geometry leans more towards all day Adventures than race day aggression this helps it feel stable on the descents helped also by 160 mm disc brake rotors front and rear providing plenty of stopping power the 13 kilo weight is noticeable but the assist modes more than compensate especially when climbing this is certainly a heavier but more powerful option compared to the more subtle or bare gain being a pinell it will come as no surprise that the Nitro E7 is a premium entry into the e-road market but for Riders seeking to keep up recover from injury or simply extend their range the Nitro is worthy of short listing specialized launch the second generation turbo Creo almost exactly a year ago and this time they went big this all starts with the price at £12,000 the sworks turbo Creo 2 is certainly the most expensive bike on our list and as you might expect comes with all the technology and marketing Buzz to justify such a hefty price tag at its core the turbo Creo 2 is built with a fact 11R carbon frame which is lightweight yet stiff and features a more gravel friendly geometry compared to the original with a slacker head tube and a tooless stack it handles with a little more stability especially on steeper terrain and gravel paths the big news though is the stoning 57 mm Tire clearance combined with specialized latest generation Future Shock stem suspension system the turbo Creo 2 is perhaps the most versatile bike on our list the SX version features the SL 1.2 motor which provides a significant increase in torque and power compared to its predecessor it delivers up to 120 Mi of range thanks to a 320 W battery which can be extended with a range extender specialized pairs this motor with a high-end suram xx1 Eagle axis drivetrain roval Terror clx2 Carbon wheels and a terror handlebar the tractor Manet plus SLR 6 axis is another premium ebike option that is low profile enough to unnoticed by the untrained eye it’s built off a premium chassis with Tre using its more premium 800 series ocv carbon fiber to construct the new de Manet Plus in keeping with the bike’s non-motorized sibling the de Manet plus still features the rear ISO speed decoupler the pivot device located in the seat tube allows for increased seat post Flex which improves Rider Comfort over rougher terrain powering the dman plus is the discrete TQ harmonic ping ring motor delivering 15 new M of torque the included battery is slightly less than the competition at just 360 W hours but Tre claims this is still good for a range of up to 62 Mi for longer Adventures the optimal range extender can add up to 44% more capacity shifting is taken care of by sram’s Wireless rival explore axis 1×12 drivetrain and paired with 40 mm gravel tires on the airless Pro 3v ocv Carbon wheels the dman plus can blur the lines between both smooth roads s and loose conditions other features such as a Sleek display and full cable integration for a traditional Road by athetic all help the demman plus SLR to be one of the highest tech bikes on this list and finally we come to the canondale sinapse Neo Allroad part Road machine part gravel ebike the signups Bikes for Lazy fat people.
No BMC, no Canyon? Weird choices here
Orbea Gain D50 has a 250Wh battery
You've missed the best e-road bike on the market the Scott Solace e-Ride. Pretty sad review but I guess you print what you can get money for.
OMG I cannot believe you didn't include my favorite bike! I am outraged at this obvious scam! << Am I doing comments on this channel right?
Going to be a struggle keeping up when limited to 15.5mph in UK….
Best E bikes? None. E bikes are for fat people and suck
EBikes = Cheating. PERIOD !!!
how far will the giant go without the extender? thanks in advance.
ridiculous price. Not worth half of that amount.
The specialized creo sl is the best and most versatile of the group. I can ride 80 miles on eco mode or 130 miles with range extender. If you ride in eco mode it rides likes my analog bike.
You missed the Cervello, the best looking one and most versatile
You forgot about the Aygo X, one of the best electric vehicles in my post code
1:47 why the seat stay is crooked?
Sport with a motor………,,rather lame
Scott Addict one of the lightest electric road bikes – no mention ??
they cost as much as a top motorcycle, BS
Why would you chose a low end Aluminium Orbea D50 and not the M20i? Full carbon, Di2, the latest Mahle x20 hub motor MYO feature, and the lowest price point in the high end market. And how about the new Denna? This video wasn't worth my time.
Where is the BMC Roadmachine 01 AMP?
Would be great if the details were correct.
As an old school longtime road biker, I am puzzled by the apparent fact that young, fit people are buying these bikes. I always assumed that the target market was the elderly or those in some way physically compromised. I rode unassisted until I was 90 years old, when I added a simple e-assist kit to my road bike, as I found the hills around where I live were becoming a bit too difficult and my rides consequently being shortened. I resisted the assistance as long as I could, and I really don't understand the apparent use of these bikes by younger cyclists
How many catch Fire?
Why does video show Orbea with Mahle X20 motor instead of the older X35 as the narator says?
I have now tried a Ridley Grifn e-road bike with a hub motor. It doesn’t look like an e-bike and rides well with or without the motor. Since then I have been using a Trek Domane+ SLR6 and this is quite a bit more subtle and refined than the Ridley and feel a much stronger more polished performer and with a mid motor I can interchange wheels easily. Both are easy to recommend as a route back to fitness following open heart surgery. These bikes gave me a lot of confidence to risk a few bigger hills and longer distances, resulting in a big uplift in my fitness 👍 Brilliant!
where is Scott Addict RC eRide ?!
I cycle and weight train. I can bench press 70kg. Very average. I take my mates hydraulic car jack to the gym and can bench 400kg with ease
