Hello!
I recently bought a State Core-line single speed/fixie as my around town bike and I've been loving it. The only thing that's been less than stellar is braking performance.
Could anyone suggest some good options for upgrading? Should I just replace pads or go for entirely new brakes altogether?
Attached is the only info on the site about the stock brakes. Any advice is appreciated!

I think the weak point is the levers. Get some better levers. The ones on my wu tang singlespeed flex a lot when I pull the brakes
I’d start with pads, I’ve always liked Kool-Stop’s salmon (kind of pencil eraser colored) pads, not sure what the current choices are.
