Tour de France challenge day 5 recap! #cureleukaemia #tourdefrance

Okay, so day six tour of to France uh recap, a return to the longer and hillier uh days after yesterday’s kind of half recovery day. Uh thankfully the temperature was much nicer and it was a day of ups and downs. Not metaphorically but there’s of lots of hills and stuff and also it was a an up and down for Grant who had his second crash of the the tour which was again the slowest and most uneventful crash as he essentially falls over when he tries to uncclelete. He needs to learn that. Um this is part of the first water stop. There’s Brett who just joined today and he’s here for seven days. And then we had a little bit of a again here’s just a puncture of the the second puncture of the tour. The first one going to Grant who is quickly earning the name Calamity as he causes drama. He’s fun in the morning videos though. So again it was just up and down up and down but some of the hills were great as in you could just power down. H they got a little bit more punchy later on. Now we had our breakfast lunch here and it’s we actually had a a picture with the mayor who came out and gave us a big speech about how to come back for the Airbnb. But again, again, smashing feed from the ladies. Thank you. And then rolling in, we got some punchy punchy little climbs around this part of the French countryside. Um I believe I put in my some pictures of the the gradient, but again, it was just nice day. It’s which world the difference. Yes. So, here is our second water stop. Lad’s getting and there’s me trying to look impressive. And then, as I said, just that’s the type of climbs we were dealing with. There’s some there’s cool monuments all throughout um France in terms of how the people celebrating the tour of France. It’s really cool how much they get behind it. Um really good day. feeling good in the bike and actually had a little cheeky climb and attack at the hill which meant I won the king of the mountains for group two but as no one else attacked. Listen, a really good day today. Um although Grant’s ego is a little bit bruised. We will bring that up in tomorrow’s breakfast banter. Thanks again for watching. Like and subscribe.
