I’ve had a few flats in the last two weeks and figured I’d try a split-tube tubeless setup. It seated and sealed pretty well, and easier to do than I remember.
Using a 16” specialized tube that has a fully threaded valve, and orange seal!

Sketchy stuff is peak xbiking my friend
I was once thinking about going tubeless or at least ghetto tubeless, but as a temporary solution, I’ve tried sealant in tubes. “Nothing more permanent than a temporary solution” happened.
I’m struggling to find reasons to go further …for 3 years already. It works, no mess or fuss with installation or tire seating and it holds air better.
I’m sorry, 110PSI max???
Can someone explain how this works?
