Just bought this 2018 Stumpjumper ST Alloy for $800 in pristine condition. Retails for $1870. Do you think I overpaid for it? Do any of you own this bike? What are your thoughts on it?

Definitely didn’t overpay. You’ve got yourself a solid full suspension for the same price as a new marlin 4. The best possible thing you could have done if you’re budget is around $800.
This was my first modern mountain bike and it served me well for several thousand miles across 5 years. I’d definitely recommend getting a cheap dropper post but aside from that you should be good to go. Enjoy it!
