Hi there! Unfortunately my bike fell on the drivetrain side while standing still. Maybe I‘m paranoid but I have a feeling that my derailleur or my pulley bent in. When I Shift to small-big it’s very close to the rear wheel as seen in the picture. Otherwise it felt pretty normal, chain jumped once while driving home but that might‘ve been Random.

It’s a 105 Di2 drivetrain. Should I take it to a bike shop?

Thank you!

  1. It’s hard to judge like this. Maybe the hangar is bent a little. Nothing that can’t be fixed with the proper tools. Take it to a bike shop. The fix should not take much time.

Ideally would be using something like this.

  2. The 1st picture is big gear in the front – middle gear back and pictures 2-4 is small gear in the front – biggest gear in the back. Thats where I feel its super close to the back wheel.

  3. The hanger is likely bent.

It can be bent back, but replacement hangers are like 10-15€ and can easily replaced on your own.

  4. Hangar is sacrificial and costs just a few quid – it is supposed to bend to save the expensive parts.
